Great Winter get away

We very much enjoyed our stay. This is a beautiful propety with everything we needed. The pool area was beautiful and we found the property perfect for our needs. We would recommend this property highly.

Everything you could need

This home is cozy, quiet, clean, comfortable and has 2 of everything that you could possibly need. Communication with the owner / manager was clear and direct - very responsive. It's in a very convenient location and a very safe / quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again, highly recommended!!

Sample life as a Florida resident

We are looking to move to Florida so wanted to rent a home that was similar to what we want to buy - single floor, screened in pool, quiet neighborhood. This home was all that and more. Being on the small canal and having a canoe to use was great! The area was close to everything - shops and restauants.

A great place to stay!

My wife and I had an amazing seven day stay at the Floridian Dream. The host had rules to follow of course but was very laid back and communicative leading up to and during our visit. The house had everything we needed and more. (The beach towels and chairs were a huge bonus!) The pool was beautifully serviced and having access to a canoe for a sunset paddle was awesome. The Bonita Springs location couldn’t be better being situated right in the middle of Fort Myers and Naples but to be honest we could have stayed in Bonita Springs the entire week as the amount of shops, restaurants and beaches all within 15 minutes were plentiful. We would definitely consider staying at this location again and highly recommend it to all.

Clean and well-stocked. Exceptionally fast responses from the owner via VRBO messaging. The area is north of Naples in a nice quiet neighborhood with lots of sidewalks. Would stay here again.

great vacation. Having the pool, canal, fishing rods, canoe and bikes at the house.we had plenty to do. short drive to the beach and nice chairs and umbrella to take with us. great house, would stay again.

A must stay!

Everything about this property is fabulous! The location is absolutely gorgeous located right on the canal. The home is immaculate and the owner was very quick with response time. It is so relaxing and the pool/linai area is super peaceful. The home is very well stocked with anything you need with all new appliances. My family had a magical visit here and we cannot wait to return! Thank you host family!!!!!

Relaxing vacation

House was good size for our family. Was a great outdoor space in the back with table, furniture and pool. We had fun using the canoe in the canal. Beach was about 10 mins, grocery stores 5 mins. Was great to have chairs and umbrella at the house making it one less thing to pack.

Great place to stay but u pay extra for electric and cleaning off the VRBO platform not disclosed

First off the property owner is very helpful and courteous We loved the place it's very nice and clean We only had one grievance which was we paid VRBO a set dollar amount and when you finalize the payment it specifically states there are no extra fees incurred to rent the property so we finalize the payment then the property owner's property manager contacted us to sign a pre-authorization to pay extra fees for electric and cleaning off of the VRBO platform Filed a grievance with VRBO they sent us one email concerning the problem and they never followed up We ended up spending money for the cleaning with which excessive the property owner agreed to offset some of the cost by paying for part of the electric and the taxes on the cleaning as a courtesy for me being paramilitary plus I lived in Germany and we seem to gel All Things Considered the property owner is a good person but the rental agreement with VRBO is misleading at your expense

Tolle Unterkunft!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in dem Haus. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Check-in und -out war sehr schnell und unkompliziert. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Everything was very confusing

Many signs were in German language, the decoration was somewhat poor and meaningless, as was the lighting in some places such as rooms, for the use of the pool heater there are no instructions, which makes it very difficult to use. Using the smart thermostat in controlled air conditioning sometimes makes you uncomfortable with unwanted temperature changes. There was not a good organization of things in a general sense.

--Great Location

A beautiful setting for this place with a pool facing a canal and wonderful views of trees and birds. Located near shopping centers, restaurants and near the Tamiami Trail. In addition, the beach is less than two miles away. The place was very clean and supplied with ample kitchen utensils. It would have been nice if the master bedroom had a ceiling fan. The only major complaint was the house instructions. They were mostly written German and not all in one place.

The house is exactly like the pictures and clean.

The house is in a great location, clean and comfortable. It is exactly like the pictures. It was a great place to stay. One drawback was all instructions were in German. The other drawback was the owners' extra requirements/charges for electricity consumption used during the stay made me less confident that the listing price and totals paid on the site for the rental would be the actual total for the stay. The property manager was very nice and responsive.

Comfortable home

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very comfortable and the location was close to many things. My one complaint is that many things were in German. Using my vacation time to google translate was not my idea of fun, but I did want to respect the rules. We did enjoy our stay and the house was well equipped.

Water main replacement during our stay

The property is fine but the owner and property manager failed to check on the schedule for the water main replacement and rented to us when it occurred. The water was cut off for hours two days in a row and we were informed to boil water for drinking and cooking for the remainder of our stay. We informed the owner and property manager we were leaving - unsanitary conditions were not acceptable - we were even afraid to shower not knowing the bacteria level in the water once it came back on. The health department would not certify the water was safe while we were there. The owner is being difficult about settling our dispute as we left four nights early. His offer was insufficient as we were compelled to move to a hotel.

Great Stay in Bonita

My family and I have been visiting the Bonita area for nearly 30 years and this was the first time we've rented a house since I became an adult. We LOVED this property, the ease of arrival and that it was close to everything. A couple recommendations to make this place even better: communicate to guests they should provide extra paper products (TP, paper towels, napkins, etc), provide directions in English (there is a binder with instructions, but many of the pages are in German and don't appear to have equivalents in English), ensure the televisions are in English (we ended up logging out of their accounts and into our own). Other than that our stay was great! We loved having a pool right out back and enjoyed a family dinner on the covered patio one night. We also enjoyed having our own spaces to go to at night to relax and each bedroom is spacious enough for two adults. Please be sure to check the binder for the number to call when you arrive and again when you leave. That was not listed on VRBO instructions for check in.

Gerne wieder

Alles was man braucht war vor Ort. Ausstattung, Mobilar, Zubehör und auch für die Freizeit ( Kajak , Räder und Strandartikel sind vorhanden. Dazu kommt die ruhige Lage und durch den kleinen Nebenarm des Flusses bekommt manauch viele Tiere zu sehen. Fazit unseres Besuches: Kann man wirklich nur empfehlen und sollte es uns wieder nach Bonita verschlagen, ist das sicher unser erster Ansprechpartner.

gerne wieder!

Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, sauber und alles nötige ist vorhanden - auch für Ausflüge an die Top-Beaches in der Umgebung. Hat uns vier gefallen da! Einziger Wehrmutstropfen; das Boot war nicht zu mieten während unseren Ferien. Schon aus diesem Grund müssen wir wohl nochmals wieder kommen ;)
