This is not an opinion review, just facts which you deserve to know and I believe we should have been told. A cottage is defined as a detached, independent structure. This is not a cottage, it is an efficiency unit (one of 18) in a row-style motel. The picture that shows a dock on the water with four Adirondack chairs can only be accessed by walking the equivalent of three full flights of stairs down and the dock is shared by all renters in the 18 units plus a house on the property, which you walk past, so if you are picturing yourself having a quiet morning coffee there or a happy hour glass of wine alone with your honey, that is not what it is. The first night we stayed, there were about a dozen young men on the dock enjoying a bachelor party. We did not use the dock except to access our boat (and dock it overnight). Although the unit we stayed in technically does sleep four and was listed that way, the dinette area in the kitchen only had two stools at a bar and there was no room for a table. The couch in the sitting area definitely would not fit four adults. There is a patio set outside, however that is not going to work if it rains.
