Large self-contained, clean room in a 18th century building about 10 minute walk to the main square and close to 2 supermarkets. Due to age of the building there are no lifts so had to carry our bags up a few sets of steep stairs which was not an issue for us. Our room was on the top floor and as it was very hot the air conditioning was barely coping. The building needs some maintenance work. Staff (Ludo) was amazing, friendly and very helpful.

The reception staff were excellent and friendly. The Exagon suite was perfect for 4 of us with plenty of room and comfortable beds and a giant nespresso machine. The location was perfect with the Neptune fountain no more the a slow 10 minute walk I would definitely stay here again .

Bologna getaway

Our room at The Gregorian Luxury Suites was so charming. Situated on the top floor of an 18th Century building, our room was spacious and authentically Italian. The only warning I have is that there is no elevator so be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs

Absolutely beautiful hotel, no elevator

We received excellent service at the Gregorini-Bingham hotel in Bologna. It was located within quick walking distance of the main square, shopping and dining. The hotel is stunning in its architectural beauty. Our room was lovely with gold-leaf and cherubs in the ceiling. Staff was helpful, and they stored our bags until our room was ready. The only 2 things that we did not like were the fact that there is not an elevator, and we were traveling with luggage. The hotel staff did carry our bags to our room, but because we left early, my husband had to tote our bags down from the top floor at 6 am. And the coffee and tea pots both were not clean, but that wasn't a big deal.
