About 40 minutes north through the long pine tree woods, we stumbled upon Stalag Luft 3, the original prisoner of war camp where the Great Escape occurred. "We so enjoyed our stay at Ibis Styles Boleslawiec. The staff at the desk were pleasant and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for walking to the town square.
