"Beautiful place! Helpful staff. We needed an outlet adapter. They loaned us one. When we asked if there was anywhere nearby we could purchase one, they said, "no need to waste your vacation time looking for one." (Although it was used) they allowed us to purchase theirs. Incredibly thoughtful and considerate of our vacation! The hot tub wasn't working, which was disappointing, as it's one of the reasons we booked that place. We were only there for one night, so can't much else about the...

"Hotel Ambassador in Solothurn has a small town charm and great location on a quiet street only 3 min. walking distance from the railway station. It is also conveniently near the river and bridges that lead you into the historic old town."

"Due to the holiday season, reception closed at 15:00 hours, so check in was thru an envelope. Rooms are very spacious, bed and showers are good, but it is an ancient structure and building, so don’t expect modern rooms or furniture. Staff when available was very helpful. Great to walk around the area. "
