"We have just spent May bank holiday at Grooms cottage-wow what a place. We took our two dogs with us. One is just 14 weeks old, we needed the break after breeding puppies earlier this year.The cottage was safe and secure, just like it said.The property is set in a rural location however you are just a 30 minute… give or take a few drive away from main attractions.This was more beautiful, relaxing than we could have imagined.We hope they will allow us back.Thank you so much, just what we needed."

"This is a wonderful little place. Wendy and John are excellent hosts - John even let us feed their sheep. It's a little bit of an adventure down single track lanes to reach the property, but (as with much of Cornwall) the views are worth it. It's well placed for picturesque spots along the coast, as well as a walk up Rough Tor. The new sun room is beautiful and makes an ideal place to wind down, and in good weather the patio and garden space is lovely too. Thank you! "

"It is a stunning location if you want some quiet time and be centrally located to attractions in Cornwall. It is well equiped with all modern finishes and very comfortable. Would definitely go back."

"Great location for exploring the area which is so beautiful and varied. Sad the hotel is currently closed. Nice grounds, great outdoor unheated pool. Our lodge was spacious, cosy and clean for 6 people, if rather tired and dated , a few kitchen items down, and only had a one ring cooker. We gave various after -stay feedback to tve host about eg defunct microwave left outside tve property, . We would go again, as lots of plusses but choose a better -equipped lodge with the same company."

"This property is amazing. Not only is it furnished beautifully. It's comfortable, well equipped and very spacious. The host Michael had sent me a very informative email before our stay and then sent a check-in email during our stay. The park itself is quiet and the lodges aren't on top of each other. The location is so ideal to get anywhere in Cornwall. We will define book lodge 22."

"We stayed in Tamsins cottage for a week in late April, we had an absolutely fantastic time. Lesley went out of her way to make our stay perfect, from a range of greeting treats, to meeting us upon our arrival. The cottage was lovely, clean, nicely decorated, and housed pretty much anything you could possibly need during your stay. We even managed a spot of baking whilst there. The hot tub is an extra touch which we all loved spending time in and watching the visiting birds and rolling hills in...

The value for money is fantastic. It is a perfect location to explore Cornwall!"

"A lovely room in a converted stone building, separate from the main pub. Comfortable king-size bed and a small but adequate bathroom with an excellent rainfall shower. The only snag was the too-heavy duvet; we boiled on the first night! The second night we took the cover off it & slept under that. Good breakfast but we would have preferred to be able to eat at 8.30 instead of 9am."
