A real wild west ghost town - what's left of the lawless mining town in the middle of nowhere that had 10,000 residents in 1880.
Bodie State Historic Site is a great place to check out a ghost town. More than 8000 people lived here during the gold rush. Today only 5% of the buildings are standing. Fun location to learn some history about life during this part of American history.
