"A truly wonderful hotel, a historic landmark. An old monastery completely renovated for a hotel. Great rooms, restaurant, and services. Getting there a bit hard, as roads are very windy. However, there are spectacular views and clean air. It is very quiet at night, no nightlife or shopping around, but you will not need any if you there to relax and enjoy! Highly recommend!"

"Excellent parador in 400 year old monastery high above town. Plenty of parking, staff friendly and helpful, room large and well equipped. Restaurant was superb, great service and very high quality food. Not much to see in Monforte, but a drive through the Sil valley is stunning."

Every single space is so clean Service is completly amazing, so helpful and such a hard workers. The spa is a privilege, worm, clean, private and beautiful. "Really cute town, with a selection of restaurants to choose from. It felt very tranquil and calm and the accomodation was huge, we had accidentally booked a 2 bed apartment for two of us but it was affordable and a great stay!"

"We had a beautiful stay at Pedro's villa and never tired of looking at the view from the balcony. The villa is well equipped and very comfortable, and having mosquito screens was very reassuring, and meant we could leave the windows open at night. Pedro is incredibly friendly in an unobtrusive way, and made several very helpful suggestions about places to eat/visit, as well as ordering us the most delicious empanada from the local bakery. And he was available for any questions we had. We enjoyed spending time relaxing at the villa, using the gorgeous pool, and also exploring the area, which is very picturesque. We would highly recommend staying here, there's so much to love."
