"Hotel Maria Isabel in Ataco was such a cute, cozy family-owned stay. The hotel was small, peaceful, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Our room and bathroom were both very clean, which we really appreciated. There was no AC and unfortunately the fan in our room didn’t work, so we had to keep the windows open at night. But honestly, the hospitality made up for it. The breakfast was SO good, and the man at the front desk — who I think may have been the owner — was the sweetest. He was funny, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again."

"I had to book an extra day because the food from the restaurant made me sick. The staff thought I was overstaying and made lots of noise outside my room. The front desk finally agreed to not charge me for the portion of the meal that made me sick. The doorman laughed at me on the way out."

"This house needs major updates and some care. Bedding was dingy and awful looking. We hated the house so much, we left the same night we got in and got into a local hotel. I could not see my self even sitting on the beds let alone laying my head down on it. We ended up booking sometimes and never went back. I lost the money but I was o vacation and was not going to cut my self short by staying at this awful house. The dishes in what’s supposed to be the kitchen are simply a disgrace as it is all the furniture. I told the owner we hated his house. IF YOU WANT QUALITY AND A HOME FEELING DO NOT SATY HERE!! "
