"The house has a fantastic view. What was not mentioned is that it is literally 97 steps to get to it. When it rains some of the path way is very muddy. One of the wooden steps is not attached. There are chickens and roosters all around which is entertaining except when the roosters start crowing at 2am. "We stayed at Steve’s cabin for the last two nights of our trip to Bocas. The property was everything we wanted, beautiful views, relaxing, and a quick walk to restaurants and water taxis. Steve went out of his way to be helpful and friendly. Gave us great recommendations and great convo. Basti is a very cool island with amazing food and culture. I will 100% stay at Steve’s again."

"This was a unique and amazing place to stay.We loved it!! Lauren was an exceptional host from afar, and the people and places she suggested were all top notch, attentive, and wonderful. "Upon arrival.. the property floors was covered in dust and debris. The sheets and pillows on the bed in the master bedroom was filthy and had a terrible smell of a man body odor. Master bathroom smell like old urine and the mirror had white spots on it. Both master bathroom rugs was dirty and had black debri on them. "The Red Frog Resort is a beautifully located area. Although it rained for most of the time, the beach and property are amazing. We saw sloths, monkeys and of corse the red frogs throughout our stay. The staff was so nice and made us feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful experience in Bocas. "

"This hotel was amazing and truly a gem in the area. It’s a little further from the main area but I enjoyed that aspect and there’s a dock right across to catch a water taxi. Very convenient. The front desk staff was so attentive and nice. Suli was especially kind to us! I would definitely stay here again! "

"We had a wonderful time staying in one of Koko aqua lodge’s over the water bungalow for a few days while visiting Bocas Del Toro,Panama….And what made it even better were the super friendly people who run the place in particular Heylis who is a great host and a real good singer in a local band…Thank you all ☺️"

"Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is right on the water. It is on a smaller, more secluded island, which is only a 2 minute boat taxi from the main island. The hosts were attentive, they helped us book day tours around the different islands. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and well worth eating there. There is a very chilled atmosphere in the hotel which is ideal for the island feeling. We spent a lot of time in the pool, it was clean and fresh, overlooking the ocean and some amazing sunsets. Overall, we had a wonderful time with the wonderful hosts. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a few days in paradise. "
