Hotel is 30 minute walk from ben tanh market on a straight road which is great. Nice area and felt safe. The hotel generally was ok but definitely not 4 star. Limited breakfast options, no safe in room, unsafe loose plugs and the bathroom drains not consistent. So overall an ok stay in a good area as we spend little time within the hotel itself.

We stayed in the Panorama suite and it was truely amazing, comfortable and the room service was excellent. Cant thank the staff enough for their hospitality! Will definitely be going back when next in Ho Chi!

Au Lac Charner Hotel is a small boutique property a few minutes away from central Saigon. It is a very neat and friendly hotel where your wish becomes the command of the friendly staff. The rooms, while smallish, are well furnished and comfortable. The most endearing quality of this hotel is the pleasantness of the staff, especially Kent at the front desk and Lewis in the restaurants.

When I booked, I requested a side-by-side room and a connecting room, and as expected, I got a side-by-side room and a connecting room. Furthermore, I was upgraded from a city view room to a river view room, and from the room window.
