This was the perfect setup for us for the week. Great amenities, lovely decor, and super comfy bed. Loved having restaurants and coffee shops so close! We walked to them a few times, which was so nice.

The Carriage House has everything you need for a wonderful stay in Bluffton. We found it very clean, comfy and cozy! Just as pictured! Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The property manager was very responsive if we had any questions Would highly recommend and look forward to our next visit to Bluffton.

Clean and larger than expected! The property manager is very responsive which we appreciated. Great location - I walked to nearby shops, restaurants and most importantly Alljoy donuts!

This was my second stay at the Bluffton carriage house while in town for business, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The location makes it easy to handle work in town, but it also gave me the chance to turn the weekend into a little getaway. The property itself is charming, comfortable, and well kept. The real standout, though, is the property manager — absolutely extraordinary in making sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be back again!

Loved the Tarheel Retreat!!

This place is so comfortable, clean and quaint! The retreat is literally a couple minutes from downtown Bluffton, with plenty of shopping and places to dine!I didn’t have to reach out to the owner for anything, as they already provided everything we needed!!We will definitely book again!!Scott and Tara Duff

Tarheel Retreat is a great location to enjoy all that Old Town Bluffton has to offer on foot, is a short drive to the north end of Hilton Head and a little further drive to the south end of Hilton Head and Savannah. Very comfortable accommodations to rest up after a busy day of sightseeing.
