Log Cabin Inn - Cabin 12 on the Mckenzie River - minutes from Tokatee and Loloma
Luxury river-front cabin on the Mckenzie River at the historic Log Cabin Inn. Enjoy all that the Willamette National Forest has to offer - just minutes from three natural hot-springs (one with a pool), Tokatee Golf Course, the famous Mckenzie River Trail, Sahalie Falls, Koosah Falls, Tamolitch Falls (aka...The Blue Pool), Proxy Falls, Blue River Reservoir, Cougar Reservoir, The "Old Pass" lava flows of Hwy 242, and Scott Lake - all while staying where Presidents and Stars have stayed for decades. The Log Cabin Inn was a famous stage stop, Inn and restaurant from the mid 1800's - President Hoover loved fishing the Mckenzie and often stayed here. There are Three wonderful restaurants (2 within walking distance) - 4, if you include the cafe at Tokatee Golf course. The Log Cabin Inn covers almost 7 acres of old growth forest on nearly 900 feet of pristine river frontage - all available for your enjoyment. The cabin is in new condition and we have a reputation for offering the cleanest cabins in the area with management available onsite within minutes to take care of your every need , if necessary. The outdoors here are the spectacle, but you'll love the interior finishes as well - the walls and ceilings are all adorned in knotty pine and the floors are all Douglas Fir. The fireplace is gas, so even in the dryer seasons - you can enjoy an instant fire in this cozy space. we are centrally located in Oregon, so you can drive to the coast within a few hours, Sisters and the Metolius recreational areas are just an hour east - a highly recommended day trip. Ski Hoodoo Ski Bowl from late Fall to Early Spring - and try their huge sledding and cross country trail circuit. Hoodoo even offers night skiing and several celebrations throughout the winter. Mt Bachelor is only about 2 hours east for another winter time skiing treat. Summers on the Mckenzie are about as perfect as perfection gets, so plan on making some memories when you book this cabin. Call Jonathan and Lisa if you have any questions or special needs for your trip - we're close, knowledgeable and want to help make your vacation as perfect as these surroundings. See you soon.

Clean, peaceful little cabin w/ beautiful view of the river. Close to Cougar hot springs and Belknap pool. Took both the kids and there was lots of room for everyone. Overall great stay.
We enjoyed the sound if the river from the back porch enclosed in screens. The firplace set the scene for a nice snow filled trip. Very close to store , restaurant, and hot springs
My friends and I had a wonderful stay celebrating a 60th birthday. The cabin was perfectly clean, well maintained. It was spacious yet cozy, perfect for us four ladies. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.
We had a great time staying at the cabins at the Log Cabin Inn. Great view of the river and lots of good hikes nearby. The cabins were cozy and comfortable. Check-in/check-out and communication with Jonathon was excellent.
Thank you!
We had a great stay at this updated and comfy cabin. The property has been beautifully updated with amazing touches throughout and was very clean. It is also well stocked and has everything you would need for your stay. The screened porch overlooking the river was a great spot to enjoy our evenings.
We enjoyed for the second time our stay at the log cabins inn. The cabin 12 we stayed in was so enjoyable and comfortable. We highly recommend the stay.
And a big thanks to Jonathan for all his help.
Sincerely
The Blankenship family.
This cabin was perfect for a relaxing place to explore all the area has to offer! It has everything we could have asked for, very comfortable. Loved the screened porch to play games and there was a super selection of puzzles. Wanted to stay one more day to finish the puzzle I was working on! Would stay here again for sure.

Original Password for Wifi was incorrect and with 3 remotes for TV , we couldn't find the instructions. While staying connected was a low priority with the beauty of the area and cabin it could have been clearer so we could just enjoy the area a little longer but we will be back !!
We were very pleased with our stay on the river. Great communication with the host. Cabin 12 is really nice, not on the river but a view of the river. A short walk down to the water. It's fairly steep so be careful. We took our own folding camp chairs which worked out well. Beds are very comfortable. A very nice time.
Hi, Lisa and Jonathan (we, too, are Johnsons, so enjoyed the big "J" on the mantle!) Everything that you provided for us and all of the things that you decorated with are top of the line. We were so comfortable and would love it if you would allow us to return for some spring fishing! Hopefully left the cabin in good order for you or for your cleaning crew!
Sincerely, Kay and Rick
