"We had a wonderful time at this property. What a gem of a location - so private and quiet. The sound of the river going by is lovely. What a well stocked and comfortable home. Everything you could possibly need. We liked hanging around on the deck or the living room with the huge sliding glass door wide open. We didn't have a dog with us as our beloved senior dog had recently passed, but this cabin is very dog friendly. I accidently left my small diamond earrings in the bedroom and didn't realize it until we got home. I contacted Mike and he immediately responded back to tell me he forwarded my request to have the earrings mailed back to me to the person who cleans the home. Within a few days I got them back. That was so nice of them as it was my mistake! Wonderful hosts!"

"Perfect place!!!! Extremely beautiful quiet setting - clean and very nicely appointed cabin by the river. Had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. King size beds in both bedrooms and 2 bathrooms made it perfect for 2 couples. We were there for a wedding at Loloma Lodge which was less than a mile away. "

"Wonderful cabin in a quiet location near the river. Lovely furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, lots of towels. Very responsive manager quickly fixed a problem of a chirping smoke alarm. It was great to have some childrens' toys and books, that were appreciated by our grandchildren, who were staying in the cabin next door. "

"The McKenzie River house is right next to the river and all of its magnificence. Everything inside the house is there for you to enjoy the river and your stay. We are a group of plein air painters and this was our annual retreat.The wide deck above the river was very important to us to set up our easels for the views.The front wooded acreage was an alternate subject for our paintings. The sunshine through the trees beautiful.Tim was so reassuring and attentive, leaving flowers and wine to welcome us. Some of us enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor shower, and river swing. We cooked fabulous meals in the well appointed kitchen. The huge dining table was our gathering place.This was one of our most favorite places to paint outdoors."
