"If you are looking for a clean and nice place to experience Gatlinburg - the Gillette is a nice place. It is an older hotel and a little dated - but overall a nice place to stay. Great for family weekends and those with sporting events at Rocky Top. "

"John at the front desk is awesome!!! All the staff is great that I’ve encountered. However at the price point it’s at there are other options. I’ve stayed several times and I love the location, but the condition of the rooms is slowly degrading. Not saying I won’t stay again, but I am going to look at newer options. Also my other major complaint is the pool is only open to 10pm for kids, way too often the kids want to go in the pool after a long day out but it’s too late for the pool. I really wish this pool was open until at least midnight. Bottom line is it’s a great stay if you don’t mind a 1970’s feeling room."

"I really liked this hotel. We were right in downtown Gatlinburg and could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The staff is very nice and helpful. Check in and check out was so easy and efficient. Will stay here again. We don’t have animals but it is very pet friendly."
