Pet Policies
This home only allows 2 dogs. There are nightly pet fees and a pet deposit required. When booking with a pet on VRBO, VRBO defaults the number of pets to 1 dog. Our pet fee is $50 per pet per night with a $75 pet cleaning fee per pet.
In order to protect our homeowners' second homes, we do require that pets must be under 35 lbs., non-shedding, and crate trained. The pet(s) must either be crated when unattended and not left alone in the cabin when you leave. As pet owners ourselves, we know that some pets have separation anxiety which will cause damage to the wood floors, walls, door frames, or furniture when left alone, even if shut in a bedroom or bathroom. Blue Ridge is an extremely pet friendly town and you can take your dog with you to most restaurants where there is outdoor seating, and walking along Main Street, shop owners keep bowls of water outside for thirsty pets.
There is a $250 refundable pet deposit for all reservations. It is refunded upon the departure of the stay unless there are pet damages, excessive pet hair, or if the pet has been found unattended in the cabin.
Rental Rates
Rates for cabin rentals are based on per night for up to four guests. Add $25 per person, per night above four guests. A cleaning fee will be added, based on the number of guests. All cabin rentals prices and minimum stays are subject to change at anytime even if not posted on site.

We enjoyed our long weekend with friends at this beautiful cabin. The location is perfect and the cabin was so inviting. Everything was clean and well stocked for our time there. We will definitely be renting this cabin again in the future. Thank you!
This house was amazing perfect for a group of friends celebrating a birthday. The house was spotless, perfectly located, and truly beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed. We sat on the decks and in the treehouse, looked at the beautiful views, and truly enjoyed ourselves. We are all planning on coming back with our families and staying here.
We loved our time at Serendipity! We had 3 daughters and 3 grandkids with us. The house offered us enough separate spaces so that the grandkids were comfortable and the adults could still socialize after the littles went to bed. The kitchen was well stocked with the cooking tools we needed as we cooked at home for most meals. We would definitely go back!
The house was so spacious - large bedrooms, wonderful porch with beautiful view. Nice large dining table for our family of eight. WiFi worked well. It felt very private. We enjoyed making s’mores in the fireplace at the Treehouse and several of us made good use of the hot tub . It was a pretty good hike to the fire pit & gazebo area down by the creek. We enjoyed the town of Blue Ridge and the nearby Mercier orchard. We would definitely rent this home again.
Our extended family gathered for a relaxing time in this beautiful cabin for Thanksgiving. The cabin had everything we needed. Perfect layout for our families with king size beds & baths in each bedroom. Loved the cabin vibe and especially enjoyed the outdoor fireplace in the treehouse. We even made the steep hike down to the river so they kids could fish. Nice to be in nature. It’s a little bit of a drive into Blue Ridge proper (25 min) but that makes for a nice day trip. Would love to go back next year to get away from it all!

Christmas in Blue Ridge
The home was well appointed and accommodated the 6 of us more than expected. It rained our whole trip so thank God for the pool table. My disappointments for the money we paid is there were no TV upstairs, so we went and bought one. The upstairs is the main gathering place and we wanted to all watch xmas movies upstairs. There was no firewood supplied, in every home we have rented there was wood supplied. The upstairs bedrooms had to sleep with swarm of ladybugs. Downtown Blue Ridge was great, we even shopped in the rain! We expected to be right on the Noontoola Creek, and NO we were not! There was a 50, 21, 30, and 65 year men who had a helluva time getting back up from the creek. So we were very disappointed in that, it was one of the main reasons why we choose this home, very misleading!

Amazing cabin in Blue Ridge
Beautiful cabin that was more than enough room for our family of 7 (two parents and FIVE teenagers). We didn't want to leave. The property is about 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and even closer to hiking trails and tubing. Toccoa Restaurant is super close!
Cabin has everything you can imagine - upgrades galore. No TV in the Living Area upstairs BUT we ended up being super happy about that. Plenty of TVs in other rooms. Wifi a little slow for two connected parents and five teenagers but we made it work and who should be connected anyway?? We want to come back. I wish there was a treadmill because there is nowhere safe to run on the roads. The hike to the river (outdoor fire pit and chairs) was a good one and would be hard for elderly or toddlers. Personally, we enjoyed the hike and used it as a means of exercise:). We caught some trout and bass. Outdoor "treehouse" was used daily by the family. Surprisingly, there were no mosquitoes, only lightening bugs which kept the kids entertained. FIVE STARS for everything...cabin and the cabin management company.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
property has many issues
On the pros this was a 5 bed 5 bath property on three levels with a large living area. We encountered a few issues. One was the shower head was spraying out on the wall and they did send someone to fix it that day. There were three trash cans for the property, however one was already full and as a party of 9 adults and one toddler we generated a lot of trash. Second on the day after we checked in we received a call from the property manager about an item the previous guests had left. During the call he said that the oven was not working well and we needed to use it on convection. We tried that and it did not work. I called the next day and then he said that the door must be slammed very hard for it to work. That should have been explained when he first told me the oven wasn't working. One of the bedrooms had a tv on the fireplace mantel, but the cable connection was on a different wall and there was not an electrical outlet near the tv so to watch the tv you had to put the tv on the floor as there was no table near the cable outlet. The cookware in the kitchen was old and mostly rusty. Many of the coffee mugs were chipped. It really needed a through cleaning as well.
We stayed at a property in Blue Ridge just a few months before listed with another management company and it was perfect. We will be returning to Blue Ridge just not a property listed with this management company.

Very disappointing for the money spent!
The cabin itself was beautiful and the bedrooms are very large. However, when you spend that much for a cabin you really have high expectations, so we were sorely disappointed with the experience. The cabin is located DIRECTLY on Aska Rd, so you cannot enjoy much peace and quiet with the noise of the traffic. They allow dogs, but there was no place to walk the dog. The walk to the creek is not manageable for most over 60 or under 5 (“path” is a very misleading - it is a steep unpaved decline/incline up and back). A nice touch would be to have a TV in the main living area (especially during football season). There is one in the basement, but it is inconvenient to everyone relaxing on the main floor. Our biggest complaint would be about rental agency issues. We are in Blue Ridge 4 or 5 times a year have always been very happy with the other rental companies we use. This time, we arrived one hour earlier than the 3:30 check in and even though the cabin was clean, ready, and sitting empty, they wanted to charge us extra for each hour of early check in! We drove around for an hour until the assigned time. We called the first day about a TV that did not work, and a heater on the porch that would not turn on. Someone came out to look (Greg) and said he would be back later that evening to fix them- never heard from anyone again. We did, however, get daily emails reminding us there would be a charge for trash not bagged, and asking at least 4 times how many guests we had, although it was clearly in the contract. We ended up feeling harassed for extra charges on anything we did! There were not any coffee filters, toilet paper was cheap 1 ply, and kitchen stuff (baking trays/pots/pans, etc) were very worn and used. Why go cheap on these types of things when it’s so easy to upgrade?! Again, not what is expected when you are paying for a higher priced property. This is not a property we would rent again.

Nice house, but rental agency is mediocre
This is a really nice house, but for the price you would expect better service, and there are definite inconveniences on the property.
There's no TV on the main floor where you spend most of your time.
Only 4 people can fit in the hot tub.
The outside heaters near the hot tub don’t work.
Temperature control through the house is impossible. With only one unit for a 3 story house, the basement remains freezing while the upstairs is hot.
There is a HUGE problem with ladybugs everywhere. This is a cabin so some bugs are expected, but there were a large amount during our stay. Prior reviews have said the same, so we had mentally prepared for this, but still the amount was shocking.
Our main issue was with maintenance and rental agency response.
Our first night, there was no hot water in the showers. I called Cabin Rentals of GA, who weren't able to send anyone out, but said they'd call the next morning to check. They called the next day at 1pm, at which point luckily hot water had already started to run. Based on other reviews, this happens a lot.
At this time, I told them about some other issues (fire place not working inside, outside heaters near hot tub not working). I spoke to Emily, she said there were no maintenance workers available (at 1pm) but she would keep working to get a solution. Never heard back about those issues for the rest of our stay, but she did get us a noon checkout.
It seemed that there were never any maintenance people available throughout our stay. For properties like this, especially at this price, to have no one available for an entire stay is inexcusable.
I gave them a call a couple of days after our trip, and spoke to Bryan on the phone. He was very quick to say they would not refund us any money, even though I never asked for that. He also never stated why no one was able to come out during our stay. He did tell me to review the rental contract, which he said does not hold them responsible for anything at the house. This is not the response anyone wants after spending that much money.
He stated that the heaters outside were missing a heating element so they weren’t working. That would have been nice to know before we tried to get it to work for hours.
Bryan instead focused on the fact that I asked for the wifi and door code, and they provided that for us, which apparently was a big deal.
When you pay this much, you expect better service. The house gets 4 stars, the rental agency gets 2.
We loved this cabin! There were 10 of us and we all had our own king bed and bathroom . The couple with kids had the upstairs . The elders had the main floor and the 2
Adventurous couples got the downstairs . Gorgeous misty Mountain View’s every morning! Super convenient location to tubing ,restaurants, and downtown . Be prepared for a cardio journey to and from the creek, but if a 73 year old can do it anyone can! Literally only small downside was the sound of traffic occasionally. Would definitely stay here again

The property was very nice and included everything needed for an enjoyable stay
The road noise as mentioned in previous reviews was apparent. It did detract from our stay some. When we arrived the house had no hot water and the trash bins were overflowing. We called and left several messages and emailed the managment company to no avail. The next day (Sunday) we got ahold of the maintenance people and reported the problem. They did not call back so we assumed when we got back from our day out we would’ve have hot water. Still no hot water for Sunday. On Monday we got ahold of the rental company finally and we got hot waters when we got back from our outings. A few days past and emailed the rental company (called to confirm receipt) about some restitution from the final bill. I expected a call from the manager to at least say they were sorry and to make things right. I heard nothing to this day. The property was excellent however the management company really put a cloud on our stay. We won’t be retaining there services in the future.

The property was nice, spacious, comfortable. Location is beautiful.
Two person had been injured out on the deck. Nails were sticking out from the wood. One of my friends had a very deep cut; she was bleeding heavily. Deck has to be inspected and repaired. Some of the lights outside around and on the way to the hot tub are out. Communication via email was poor. I have sent several emails / messages prior to the trip and I have not received a reply. Otherwise of course we enjoyed the stay.

wonder luxury cabin
Our family of 9 went for the Easter weekend and we had a great great time. The tree house was a hit. It drizzled for about 24 hours but we didn't mind, because we made a fire and sat in the Tree House. And some of us went into the hot tub. The view was gorgeous and the Cabin had everything you needed plus some! We played pool down in the basement and the men went fly fishing and caught a few. We will be coming back! Loved it!
