We'll definitely stay here again. The house layout was perfect for 4 adults/5 kids and we all enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and ping pong. It was a 10 minute drive to App skiing and convenient to Blowing Rock restaurants.
Cabin was nice. It had all the essentials in the kitchen and bedrooms. Enough room for 6 of us. Conveniently located between Boone and Blowing Rock with a ton of supermarkets. Fun stuff to do with the kids. All in all nice vacation spot
The cabin was everything they said it would be! Really close to Boone and Blowing Rock yet tucked away on the side of a mountain. It was spacious enough for all nine of us plus a toddler and one dog. I would definitely stay at that home again but working with the property management group was a little difficult. They charged me about $50 more than what was on the original cost and I never received an explanation as to why. I had to send three emails before I could pay off my stay early and you had to be very conservative with the cleaning supplies or bring more. For example, we had maybe a 2 ounce bottle of dish detergent for a family of nine for four days, 4 trash bags and one role of paper towels. Maybe this is customary but not what I've experienced before when staying other properties.
We had a wonderful quick getaway in this beautiful cabin. It is so close to so many activities and the cabin itself is welcoming and relaxing - everything we needed. We felt right at home for our trip.
Everything was great and as advertised. Comfortable and enjoyable place with plenty of amenitiesWe appreciated the management company working extra hard to get the hottub fixed and ready for our use before our stay - as we were told early in the week it would be unavailable. But, we got an email day of that bit was fixed and that meant a lot to usZero issues with this home, it was great!
We had stayed here to take the kids to Tweetsie Railroad. Perfect location. It was only about 5 minutes away. Everything we needed was on site for a perfect quick getaway.
This cabin is located along side the mountain with a small creek. The sound is so relaxing. The cabin has everything you need for a family gathering. The place is prefect and we would definitely rent it again.
Beautiful spot, close to everything. Immaculately clean upon arrival. Very peaceful and relaxing, great for adults and/or kids. Will definitely rent again!
My family loved staying at two cubs cabin. Great location in between Blowing Rock and Boone. Close to so many outdoor adventures, cute towns with adorable shops, and delicious restaurants. The cabin itself had everything we needed, was spacious, clean, and cozy. Highly recommended! :)
We had a great stay with our group of couples in town for the Luke combs concert. The house had everything we needed and it was a super close drive into boone. Our only complaint was the WiFi wasn’t working our second day and we didn’t have good cell reception at the house.
We took our older kids skiing for a 3 day trip. The cabin is spacious and comfy. It’s well stocked with cookware but we are lazy and ate out. We enjoyed the comfort and relaxing time. We will be back next year.
We loved this cabin b/c you feel secluded on a mtn top but you’re right off 321 about 5 minutes from Blowing Rock and Boone. You’re walking distance to trails and trout fishing. We loved the hot tub, fire pit, pool table, ping pong table, hammock and views. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need including nice bedding. The beds are comfortable and TV’s in every room. We hope to visit again!!
We enjoyed very much the cabin, all the amenities worked fine, as well everything was clean and organized. Highly recommend this place. Communication with the property owner was easy via email and maintenance people are available only until 11pm. We were able to do an early check in but not a late check out . Overall everything was good and I would definitely stay on the same place again.

Great place
This was a great cabin for our family to spend a wonderful week in the mountains. We would come back but I think I finally convinced my wife to start to look at places of our own. We love the area.
The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. You can tell that it is well cared for. The only thing I would add is that having kids that wake up early and staying upstairs means that those in the master bedroom will also get up early. Not a big deal for us but thought others may want that tip.
Thanks for sharing the place with us!
The cabin was in a great location, the cabin itself was ample in size and well layed out and equipped. Beds were less than acceptable; very poor matress', Cabin cleanliness was suspect in that the decks and hammock had bat and bird droppings that had been there for a long time. Likewise the hot tub was suspect for cleanliness with sediment in the bottom. Aside from that we enjoyed our stay. PS: one of the pool cues was broken prior to our arrival and should be replaced. We left it in the rack upon discovery.
My family of four and my parents rented this house for Father's Day weekend. I will start with the pros: The house is very clean. The location was perfectly located for us to get to Tweetsie, Boone, and downtown Blowing Rock. The kitchen is very well stocked with the necessary pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for cooking and eating. The towels and bed linens were clean and comfortable. The gas grill outside worked well and was ready to use.
Now for the cons: The furniture in the living room is old and uncomfortable. The seats in the couches were sunken in and worn. The beds were very uncomfortable in all the rooms. My husband and I slept in the upstairs king and it was very lumpy and uncomfortable. My parents said the downstairs bed was also uncomfortable. My biggest complaint of all, there was not enough hot water for two people to shower back to back. In a house this size more than one person should be able to shower without hot water running out mid-shower for the next person. And we did not have the dishwasher or laundry going so no other appliances were using hot water.

Interior was clean but items need attention. For a relatively expensive stay, the amount of items that you would expect from a quality rental was far from useful. Having one towel and one washcloth per bathroom was a joke. We need to go out and purchase more towels , more dish soap. The dish and hand soap was already opened empty.
We went to use the propane fireplace and the pilot light was out and I can assume the tank was empty after numerous attempts to get it lit. No instructions were available to use any TV in the cabin
Exterior was extremely unkempt and dirty. The cushions were dirty and molding. The hammock was filthy and covered with bird droppings. A spindle was missing on front railing and a child could easily fall thru. Deck and flooring need power washing because they are slimy and very slippery. You would not want to walk with shoes. The safety tape by the hot tub is off and just hanging.
My suggestion is to maintain the exterior much better
When my son arrived at the house the house was filled with propane fumes. He quickly opened all the windows and found that the gas to the fireplace was leaking. He turned the valve off. The toilet upstairs was not flushing even after we plunged it. Because we arrived so late in the evening I waited to call and report the problems until the next morning. I called the rental office and reported these things and was told that someone would be out to fix them but they never showed. One of the couches had a "white stain" on the cushion that you sit on, it was very obvious as to what it was so I had to clean it off before anyone could sit down on it. The bathtub in the master bedroom had not had the jets clean in quite some time because when they were turned on black stuff came out into the bath water resulting in them having to immediately get out and drain all the water and shower. The pillows and comforter on the bed in the master bedroom had a terrible smell to them, I'm guessing from not being washed because they smelled of body odor. Several pots had food stains still in them and the final straw was when my daughter-in-law found a small bag of what looked like drugs in a drawer in their room!!! We spent a lot of money renting this house in hopes of celebrating a 50th birthday instead we had to deal with all of these issues with no help from the rental company!! I've debated back and forth about leaving a bad review online but thought I'd reach out to you first as I do not feel it is the owner's fault that the house was in need of repairs and needed to be clean.
