"We had a nice, short stay at this home and wish we could have stayed longer. It had plenty of room for our family of six and was a good jumping off point for the things we wanted to explore, not only in the city, but also outdoors. Special shout out to the wonderful coffee maker, food that Ursula left for us when we arrived, and the birthday cake! Make sure you get groceries on your way to the house as there is no market nearby. The closest market that we found was about 15 minutes."

"The home was great for a family stay. Everything was supplied in the kitchen, baths, and living areas. The views were fantastic, great privacy, and comfortable beds. Fabulous kitchen, open and easy to accommodate a large party. The only things that need attention are the grill which was broken, and the dryer did not put out enough heat to actually dry any clothes, we hung ours, but we had this issue in all three homes we rented in Iceland. Overall, great place and we would rent it again."

"This house was great for three couples. Three bedrooms. One big full bathroom with another bathroom with a toilet, which was perfect to have. Kitchen was equipped plus the outdoor grill. There were a few spices so when we cooked we didn’t have to purchase. The hot tub is excellent way to end the night. As far as location, we loved the private space being outside of town. There looked like there was a vegetable stand around the corner but we didn’t end up needing to stop. We did two day trips...

"The Historical House was in an ideal location and provided plenty of space to enjoy togetherness. The property manager was very quick with helpful responses. One of our daughters picked up pastries nearby every morning that we enjoyed together over the large sharing table. The kids enjoyed small sleeping areas and it was just a very comfortable situation allowing day trips to Golden Circle and The Blue Lagoon. Delightful dinners were shared nearby each evening. Everyone raved about the comfortable beds and bedding. We found the kitchen to be very well stocked. It was a pleasure to cook meals for a big crowd.
