The Blue View Cabin (3B) was an excellent choice. Clean, well equipped, private and modern. We loved it! Everything one needed for food preparation. Plenty of workspace. Private bedroom (with king bed) and pullout sofa were perfect for our needs. Nice modern bathroom/shower. Negatives? None. Would definitely book again!

This is a very quiet property, and each "little house" is set so that you have privacy. The interior is very small - perfect for a couple or a couple with a small child - but we did end up putting our suitcases back in the car so we'd have a little more floor space. Check-in (and out) was easy. The house has a great view of the valley. We were hoping for clear night skies (which we did not have, but definitely not an issue of the property. Our rooms did look out over the tomato farm's greenhouses, so if that view is not acceptable, please be sure to check with the property hosts.

Characterful option for the Golden Circle

The Blue View Cabins offer a well thought out self-catering experience in an area which allows you to beat the tour groups to key sites on the Golden Circle. To top it off, each cabin is equipped with a private geothermically heated hot tub. The accommodation is well furnished and well finished in a modern style, and the whole was very clean. The kitchenette has a two area induction hob, kettle, coffee machine (coffee provided), microwave and fridge with small freezer compartment. I loved it! If I was going to try to think of negatives for you: the cabin is quite small, but I would say cozy for two; the hot water (including the tub) is quite sulfurous, but lots of people pay for mineral spas; there are some tomato growing greenhouses in the valley below which produce extraordinary light pollution. I know nothing about tomato cultivation, but I find it astonishing that they are allowed to leech so much light. I honestly initially thought there was a sports event going on until I realised a stadium like that would hold over 10% of Iceland's population. Anyway, the accommodation itself is superb.

Per mail vorab die zugangsdaten erhalten, somit war der check-in super einfach. Es war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt, geschirr, besteck, töpfe Gewürze und öl. Hot tube war mega.

Cute and cozy. Hot tub is perfect. Place pre warmed on arrival. Only tip to owners would be to state that cold water is safe to drink. It was our first stop on our trip and was worried because of the sulpher smell of the hot water - but with research learned it was okay and the best water drink :) Note: cold water has no sulphur smell only the hot water as it's filtered from hot springs

An amazing little hide away. Peaceful, incredible views in the snow. Well kitted out facilities. Brilliant customer service, great communication. Perfect place to see the northern lights if the weather conditions are right.

Amazing views with hot tub in excellent location.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The location was perfect for day trips around the Golden Circle and Southern Iceland. Would highly recommend to anyone who wished to explore this part of the country with a rental car and would definitely visit again. The cottage was in excellent condition with good blackout blinds (needed for the midnight sun). All facilities needed for cooking were included with a fridge with enough space for all our food. We did not meet the owner due to the Coronavirus restrictions however check-in and check out with the key lock box was a breeze with the detailed instructions provided. The views from the hot tub and decking were nothing short of incredible. 10/10.
