We have been renting through VRBO for the past 10 years, and this cabin rental was by far one of the nicest places weโ€™ve stayed. The communication with the host was excellent. The cabin was as described - very clean, very comfy, great location and so quiet. It had everything that we needed for a very relaxing stay.

Perfect place to breathe.

I had meetings in Dodgeville, and tho it was a 25 min. drive each way, this cabin and location provided the scenery, wildlife, privacy and space to revive my soul. The hosts were super responsive, and I couldn't have asked for more!

A beautiful, cozy cabin nestled in the rolling hills of Wisconsin farm county. What an amazing place! The cabin was impeccably clean with everything you'd need for a relaxing stay including a stocked kitchen and a few toiletries in case you forgot your shampoo. Can't recommend this cabin enough! Perfect Mini-Vacation

We wanted to explore the SW corner of Wisconsin and found the perfect spot to return to each night. The cabin was beautifully decorated with all the amenities we needed. A peaceful rural retreat

This was a great place to "get away from it all." The cabin was well stocked and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the wonderful views of the rolling hills and grazing livestock. Thunderstorms took out the internet and TV for a day, but we didn't come for those anyway and didn't miss them. Highly recommended!

This was a relaxing weekend

The host couple of this property were great. We truly enjoyed our weekend. The serenity of the environment was just what we were wanting. We enjoyed the fresh eggs from the resident hens doing their job well. The hosts had great input of things to do in the area. They were very accommodating as far as the check in went. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The complementary snacks were a great touch. Over all this was a great value for a get away.

We had a lovely time staying at this cabin. It is a very comfortable environment. Everything was clean and organized. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach if needed. There are plenty of places to see and things to do in the nearby area if you want to explore, but the cabin is great for if you just want to stay in and relax. We would definitely recommend this cabin for a couple's getaway!

A comfortable cabin with beautiful view

I had a very pleasant time here. The cabin was clean, organized and cozy. It was as shown in the pictures. It had a wonderful view of farmland and prairie. All I needed for cooking were there. Fireflies danced around at night. The hosts were nice and warmhearted. I couldnโ€™t expect a better experience.

Wonderful Experience

This was our first time booking something other than a motel room or campground. We were a little nervous about doing this, but we have to say it was a wonderful experience. My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. This was a fantastic place to stay with a very country feel to it. The cabin was very clean and well kept. There were a few nice treats for us as well. Darin and Steph were very good hosts. They did not intrude at all, but loved to share info with us when we approached them. It was close to Yellowstone Lake State Park so we spent time there hiking and checking out the campground. We also biked on the Sugar River State Trail from New Glarus to Brodhead. We highly recommend staying here if you want quiet time to rest, relax and refresh.

An escape to tranquility in the countryside

Beautiful in every aspect - from the location in the rolling hills of the countryside to the cabin itself (wooden construction and beautiful pine everywhere) and soft, distant sounds of farm animals. Perfectly decorated, thoughtful gifts in the refrigerator, and every utensil, pan, dish, and spice that we needed were available. While we were out for a walk on the property, we encountered one of the owners, Darin. Our conversation with him confirmed what we suspected - that he and Steph are genuinely nice people. A great place! Quiet, relaxing, a great nightโ€™s sleep every night, and we were reluctant to go back home to the โ€œreal world.โ€

Adorable cabin with everything you need for a little rustic off-the-grid getaway. Very nice hiking in the nearby Yellowstone Lake State park, or simply just walk around the grounds. Lovely sunset views, cute fire pit, and the host even graciously mailed us some things we accidentally left behind. We will be returning!
