  • STARRY PINE RETREAT – GRAEAGLE CABIN WITH FLEXIBLE LAYOUT, PRIVACY & FOREST SETTING

Wake up to the quiet of the forest, step out onto the wrap-around deck with your morning coffee, and plan the day at your own pace—whether that means a walk to Mill Pond, a hike in the surrounding mountains, exploring nearby Sierra Valley birding areas, or simply relaxing under the pines.

Inside, the two-story layout is designed to give your group options. Spend time together in the main living areas, then retreat to separate upstairs and downstairs spaces when you want privacy. A door at the base of the stairs allows for added separation, making it easy for multiple families or groups to share the home comfortably.

Five plus stars for this place! An extremely clean, cozy, and well-appointed cabin just a short walk from Graeagle's shops and cafes. Of the many vacation rentals we have stayed in over the years, this was one of the best. The kitchen was unusually well-equipped, with plenty of spices, saran wrap, ziploc baggies, storage tuppers, pots and pans, and a bevy of coffee and tea supplies. We had no problem cooking meals for six people with the equipment on hand. The host, Julie, responded extremely quickly and warmly to inquiries. I would especially recommend this place for families. We had two small children in tow, and Julie kindly offered to put out a few toys to play with. Lincoln logs, Duplo blocks, and a magnetic dart board occupied them for hours. There is also a lake nearby where the kids had lots of fun identifying local critters. It's worth mentioning that if you are in the area to mountain bike, this location is conveniently located a short pedal from the exit of the very fun and chunky Mill's Peak trail, among others.
