The room was clean and comfortable, check-in was easy. It's a great location, near the train station, bus stop, and shops, and guests are given access to a dining/work area.
We really enjoyed the stay. The owner, Richard was lovely and friendly. It’s an old guesthouse, but it is part of its charm, and the room was kept clean. We stayed in a twin room, we wished that there had been a bedside ramp, but it’s not the end of the world. The only thing that we will miss would be there is no fridge if we visit in warmer days. The shared dining room was very helpful, and packed meals were a bonus. It was wonderful overall, great place and great location for our purpose. The beds were comfy too. Thank you :)
Breakfast menu was adequate would have liked some cereal. Its a first class place to stay only 10 meters to the bus and train station.Friendly staff i would stay there again
Very quiet room free car park station 3 minutes walk Richard was a execellent host losts of coffee in the room
The use of the Dinning room in the evening is a plus for using the local takeaways
Will stay again breakfast was a packed fruit yogurt trail bar which was fine for us comfortable bed too

Very friendly and informative staff, helped guide us to attractions in the local area!
A good stay for two nights. Richard was very informative and welcomming, as we wanted to hike up mount Snowdon, he was able to assist us with information. A delightful stay.
Used as a base camp to tour the llyn peninsula. Our room was clean and comfortable with free Wi-Fi and parking space. The dining area provided tea and coffee making equipment and microwave.
Excellent place, well situated in the center of town. plenty of parking to the rear. Good base for exploring the surrounding area. Very pleasant and welcoming. Good facilities - in room and the common area. Breakfast in a bag worked well for me. Would definitely stay here again
Spotlessly clean, lovely room with a very comfortable bed and we had everything we needed and more. Friendly welcome, loved the breakfast in a bag too, good selection of food. Would definitely return for another stay. Highly recommended.

Having car parking and a terrace is a definite plus, room was clean and well supplied with good towels and toiletries and good linen.
Host Richard was helpful and pleasant , will definitely stay again on my next visit to see my son.
Unfortunately the town was partly shut due to end of season and evening meals other than takeaways difficult to find.
The hotel was lovely. It was clean and tidy. The rooms had everything you needed for a 2 night stay. Richard was polite, friendly and greeted us with a smile. It was in the perfect location to travel to all the local area. I would recommend the hotel with no hesitation.
This guest house was really great value. We stayed for two nights in September. It was a bit chilly outside in the evening and came back after dinner to a warm and peaceful room. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The host was very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay again.
It was a great place to stay .richard was great .very helpful kind .he told us all the best motorcycle routes .the pack lunch breakfast was great .highly recommend. Thank you .we will stay again .A******
We had a lovely stay at Isallt Guest House. It’s an ideal place to stay after a day of fun at Zip World Caverns (literally a 5 minute drive - if that). Richard was very warm and welcoming, and the hotel itself is clean and beautiful. It’s right near a train station but was very quiet and calm (there must be great soundproofing!). The grab & go breakfast bag was ideal for us. Highly recommend staying here, thanks for a lovely stay.
Clean comfy guest house, fantastic location to attractions and walks, snowdonia is only 40mins away. Breakfast was a snatch bag fruit yogurts breakfast bar muffins and fruit juice ideal for early starters to pick up on way out from 6am or eat in breakfast room.

Tired but fair
A bit tired. Nice view and host pleasant.
Would prefer to have had the option of a cooked breakfast.
Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch.
Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean.
The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons...
It was wonderful to see the steam trains directly below - quite fascinating. There was dust around the toilet area and inside the wardrobe where the hangers were - other than that it was clean and tidy. Everything was explained to me on arrival. Next time I will book for breakfast as the one I had in town was just 'ok'. Thank you
