Wake up to mist rising off the water. Spend the afternoon floating downstream, fishing for smallmouth bass, or relaxing in the shade as the river drifts by. In the evening, gather on your private deck, watch the sunset paint the mountains, and fall asleep to the sounds of the river just outside your tent.

Unlike traditional camping, everything is ready when you arrive. Comfortable beds, fresh linens, electricity and a furnished riverfront deck allow you to enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing comfort.

Located at New River Junction in Blacksburg, Virginia, our safari tents place you directly on the river while keeping you close to Virginia Tech, local restaurants, hiking trails, and everything that makes the New River Valley special.

A shared restroom and shower facility is available for all glamping guests. Please note that it is located elsewhere within the campground and is not adjacent to the safari tents.
