The bar with canapes was a great idea, the pool was also good. The location was handy to everything. All the little extras such as the shuttle bus to the markets made for a relaxing stay. Our only negative would be the hot water system. Every second day there seemed to be no hot water. When we reported the issue the staff were quick to investigate.

Having visited Darwin before, I booked this property expecting an oceanfront view. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. While the listing creates the impression of being oceanfront, the property is actually some distance from the waterfront and does not offer the direct oceanfront experience that I was expecting. I was also under the impression that it was a penthouse apartment, but the unit is located on a mid-level floor rather than at the top of the 26-storey building. What was most disappointing, however, was the host's lack of flexibility and hospitality. Check-in was strictly set at 3:00 pm, yet the instructions for collecting the keys were only provided at that exact time. As a result, I did not gain access to the apartment until approximately 3:45 pm to 4:00 pm. I also requested a modest one-hour late check-out due to our flight schedule, but this was declined. While hosts are entitled to enforce their policies, there appeared to be little effort made to accommodate guests or provide any flexibility. The apartment itself was clean and centrally located, which are its main strengths. However, the misleading expectation of an oceanfront view, combined with the host's rigid and unaccommodating approach, impacted our overall experience. I would recommend this property only to travelers seeking a clean and convenient place to stay and who do not place much importance on customer service, flexibility, or being genuinely close to the waterfront.

Great appartments, helpful staff, tremendous locale

We had a huge, clean apartment with a lovely view. Rainbow lorakeets in the trees in front of our balcony. Up the hill and a few streets back from the water front so nice and quiet. If you are a walker as we are, it's a perfect location. Only a 10 minute walk to the water and lots to offer around the complex as well. I would stay here again if in Darwin.

I liked the resort and hotel, I only wish they had greeted me at the door and assisted with luggage as they knew of our arrival time (with plenty of notice) and there was a bus of people coming to check in at the same time and there was no one to guide us or assist us and no indication of where to go that was suitable for luggage (it was push/pull doors and stairs to the checkin area, but only afterwards inside you could see a automatic doors and ramp to be used and then also discovered the luggage trollies) apart from that all staff and services and the resort itself was lovely and beautiful
