Cabin in the Clouds!
Beautiful cabin way up above Black Mountain, NC. Fantastic views, warm, cozy cabin. Black Mountain is a really neat small town. Asheville is an easy drive and a super cool city to visit.

As Always....a lovely, peaceful getaway!
Cabin in the Clouds has been a place we've returned to every year for the past five years. It is obvious the owners take pride in their cabin. They take great care to make it a comfortable and welcoming place for all of their visitors. This is one of the main reasons we return every year. And also, the mountain view is spectacular.

A great stay was had by all!
My husband and I stayed three nights at the Cabin in the Clouds. It was a perfect home for us as we explored Asheville, Black Mountain and began to travel farther north on the Blueridge Parkway. Very clean and comfortable!

My husband and I have been visiting Cabin in the Clouds every fall for the past five years. There's so much to like about this cabin; the mountain view, the comfort and cleanliness, and the location. Although it is convenient to town, we just enjoy spending time taking in the view. The owners take exceptional care of this cabin. The upgrades made this year to the bathroom, new flooring throughout, new furniture, a larger flat screen TV, propane grill and dining room table and chairs were nicely done. A great place to spend some time. Highly recommended.

Perfect Getaway
Perfect little cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Larry and Barbara were available and helpful when I had trouble with the front door. The drive up the mountain is a little nerve-wracking, but completely worth it to enjoy the view! I spent most of my time on the deck, as the weather was perfect during my stay. Black Mountain is a cute town worth exploring. Thank you for a perfect stay!

All we hoped for and more
Cabin in the Clouds was awesome. Very cozy, well kept and comfortable. Owner was so nice and responsive when we had a couple of glitches. Our view of the mountains from the front porch, living room and bedroom was gorgeous especially at sunset. We enjoyed our trip up the Blue Ridge pkwy and exploring the town of Black Mountain with all the shops and good restaurants. We would not hesitate to recommend this cabin to anyone

A Great Stay for Couples
We had an amazing stay at Cabin in the Clouds! We visit Black Mountian at least once a year and this year we were so lucky to find this property available for our dates. The real cabin feel with a fireplace going and a view of the mountains was a perfect way to spend a weekend getaway. We did find that our GPS took us a different way than the owner suggested, but the owner provided easy-to-follow directions for getting to the cabin!

We love visiting this quaint, rustic cabin. It's well-equipped, clean and has a beautiful view of the mountains. The cabin is comfortable and has what you need to prepare your own meals. It's also located close to the cute downtown of Black Mountain if you prefer dining out. We recommend you visit.

Hidden Gem
We love this rustic cabin in Black Mountain and visit every fall season. The view of the mountains is spectacular regardless of weather. The cabin is close to town if you want to go shopping or dine out. Or, it's nice to just stay in, grill on the deck and stare at the beauty. The cabin is clean, well-stocked, private and very comfortable. No complaints.

Comfortable, clean, well equipped, home away from home and with a better view. The view from the back deck is spectacular. Owner responded quickly to all questions. Follow the owner's excellent directions and you won't get lost; use GPS and you WILL get lost! Local wildlife seen included a bear, pileated woodpecker, and some hummingbirds. Wonderful stay, would do it again.

The Cabin in the Clouds was a perfectly sized place for my family to spend the weekend. The view was beautiful, looking out over the valley below. Saturday morning was a cold and windy day, with snow blowing off from the upper mountains, but we were still able to enjoy our stay. We had a little confusion with amenities, though being that it was only the 2nd time ever in a rental place, that did not hinder our experience.

Such a Lovely Place
The cabin was even better than expected and the pictures don't do it justice. We got a wintry mix right before Christmas and it was really lovely. The cabin had everything we needed and was a perfect little getaway for us right after we'd finished finals. The drive up is a little scary at first, but after a time or two, you get used to it; I will say that if there was any kind of snow or ice on the ground, you would probably need a vehicle with 4-wheel drive and nerves of steel to get there. The view down into the valley is beautiful.

Views are fabulous! Slight problem at check in as was sent the wrong code but it was an easy phone call and fix! If you're bringing kids, make sure to bring some DVDs for them to watch as the TV channels are limited. The kitchen has everything you need and the property is gorgeous.
