The keys to my room didn't work so finally after a long walk to the lobby I finally got a different room. I wasn't told how to get to the 6th floorso bout an hour later. Staff showed me..No T.V. channels & wanted to charge for a 30min late checkout

The room seemed a little outdated. The A/C did not work well. It couldn’t cool the room. Had to open windows at night to cool off the room. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. All the Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body wash containers in the shower were empty. We stayed on the 6th floor. The fridge couldn’t cook the water bottles I had put in there.

The property needs to be updated. Only 2 elevators were working, barely. The refreshment areas were out of coffee. The rooms are nice but lack the amenities of properties like the Monarch. If Ceasars wants to compete they need to update the hotel.

The Room Was Kind Of Dirty And The Bed Sheets Had Blood Spots On Them. The Room Was Very Hot And The Furnace Wasn't Working To Cool It Down So I Had To Open The Windows To Cool It Down. It Was Very Hard To Get A Drink From The Waitresses While Gambling To Where I Had To Purchase Drinks From The Bar

It's going downhill unfortunately. On a busy Saturday, only 2 functioning elevators. Housekeeping slamming doors against security bars early in am was a rude awakening. Staff at front desk not friendly at all. The room was clean, but could hear everything in the hallway and room next door.

Where to start. I upgraded to premium room which included water, coffee and high speed internet. The water were mini bottles for the coffee machine that didn't work and the refrigerator didn't work. Aso when we went to our room it was 78 degrees, we were told they didn have the hvac on and to open a window. Of the 2 windows one didn't have a screen and the other one was broken. I did report this to the front desk and they did refund 16.63 resort fee.

Air conditioning broken 82 in room but when opening the doors to let in cold air in the unit outside was very loud. Maintenance brought a fan but it was broken. The bed this time around was a little hard. The staff was great and too Clean. Hopefully this was just a one time experience

Only 3 blackjack tables were open. The dealer was cool but you can tell they took over a fairly rundown hotel and cheaply renovated. Table games were very disappointing.

I have stayed in several places in Black Hawk and for the price the Horseshoe is by far the best value. The only reason it does not have all 5 stars is because our doors to the balcony did not lock.

The room was nice, but I specifically asked if there was a tub in the bathroom. I was told yes, but there was only a shower. The price was good though.

Property was a little dirty and outdated, we went to bed and woke up sleeping on the bare mattress because no fitted sheet was put on, only a top sheet laid over the mattress… wish we would’ve noticed this beforehand.

the casino was great. our room was okay, very dry and loud because we were near the elevator. The elevators took forever. They only had one working. They were very understaffed, which I understand but it did make dining and convenient. do not go to the Starbucks downstairs. The girls working were very nice but the manager was horrible. they were low on every type of food and coffee product and it was only 9 AM on a Sunday. parking was free and plentiful which was nice.

I booked this hotel under my name as I was shooting an elopement there in town, but myself and my client knew there was a possibility of an associate coming instead. That is what ended up happening to do medical reasons. My associate showed to the hotel at 9pm and was not let into the room that was fully paid because it was under my name. I called and talked with the woman working the front desk who was rude, crass, and spoke down to both my associate and I. She told us there was no way to remedy the situation as that was there policy, even though I was on the phone giving permission an was able to send over my I.D. She was instead sent down the road to a second hotel where she paid double the price of the original room. I now cannot get ahold of anyone through expedia on the matter. Overall this has been a horrible experience.
