For a day trip, we recommend the city of Kolding, where you can visit Koldinghus Castle or the Trapholt Art Museum. Experience the historic UNESCO town of Christiansfeld, which attracts with interesting architecture and its famous gingerbread. The small island of Årø, with ferry service from Årøsund, is also suitable for an idyllic excursion. Taste locally produced beer, admire the bird life and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the island.
