Definitely need a mat on shower floor and grab bars. A real liability . No free refrigerator or coffee pot. Vending machines didn’t work. Very poor lighting

Very basic hotel in the centre of union square area. Did a job but very much a no thrills room set up. Bed wasn’t particularly comfy and carpet was well worn.
Biggest issue was noise from other rooms above and adjacent, floors creak and doors slam at all hours. I was woken up multiple times during my stay here.
Area around union square is full of homeless and stinks of urine. We spent most the time down at the ferry port for food and drink instead of tenderloin / union square areas. Felt much safer and was a two hop stop on the tube.
Probably would chose to stay somewhere a little nicer next time but did a job for a budget stay.

"The hotel is very clean and updated, the beds are super comfortable as well as the pillows. Food at the bar was very tasty and drinks were delicious too! The only con: the hot tub could’ve been a little bit cleaner (inside corners) other than that, everything was wonderful."
