This ”little detour” was half an hour on serpentine roads through a mostly uninhabited Italian landscape, and the inhabitated parts looking a little like the rural parts of Alabama. When we finally arrived in the little village, we got an eerie feeling of being on the set of ”Deliverance”. Do they even have electricity here? Did I hear a banjo playing from the woods? "Exceptional. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with views of the famous waterfall! The staff was incredible, hard working, kind, accommodating and I can just keep going on and on. Excellent breakfast! The hotel restaurant food was great. Great location close to the funicular and train station! We hope to stay here again!"
