Jiufen can be quite busy and loud, so we loved the inn’s quieter location, while still being conveniently walkable to the main bus stop for day trips and hikes."

"We absolutely adore this Japanese homestay nestled atop Jiufen. The room is immaculate and spotless, and the hostess serves delectable breakfasts every morning. On clear days, the view from the dining room is breathtakingly spectacular, allowing you to see the entire Jiufen town stretching all the way to the ocean. It’s a beautiful and awe-inspiring sight! "We stayed here with kids 12,11 and 8. Was cozy and a great location, I’d caution younger kids because of the loft but mine were ok. There was no breakfast foods there as mentioned in other reviews so I think that’s a thing of the past. Overall we enjoyed this stay"

"The host was amazing! He was very welcoming. He had suggestions for things to do around the area. The property itself was well maintained, clean and the room was cozy but did not feel small. The roof patio was phenomenal! It was a once in lifetime view. The old street was less than 5 mins away and there were local buses right outside the property. I would highly recommend coming here!"
