"Pretty cool place to stay a night - unlimited drinks, and plenty to do in the shared lounge space. Has a hostel feel. My kids woke up early, so they occupied themselves with drinks and video games in the lounge. The room and shared showers were clean. Nice foot onsen with a great view of mt fuji."

"Best view of Mt Fuji on their rooftop patio - WOW just press R on the elevator after the 5th floor. Place is dated but damn for the price and location you can't beat it. The staff were so helpful and kind too. "

"Staying at Numazu Club was magical. It truly felt like a hidden gem. The stuff was very welcoming and made every wish possible. My financé proposed to me on the last night in the private dining room in the old tea house. It will be a place that will forever stay in our hearts. Thank you Numazu Club team for making this stay so special. "

"Close to the railroad station. A person should know that the rooms are about 10’x10’ in the main area. The bed was comfortable. The bathrooms are about 3’x4’. The one piece fibreglass kind you would expect in an RV. The onsen or hot spring is enclosed, its about 7’x10’ and about 2’ deep at the deepest. I thought when it said natural hot spring that it would be in a natural setting. Shows you what I know. A person should also know that Japanese culture feels that a person should not wear bathing...

"This hotel was WOW! We went to Japan and stayed at 4 different hotels and this one was my favorite one. Service was a 100000/10 food was great, views were unbelievable amazing. Keep in mind this hotel is located on a rural area so you are about 20 min away from the little town and everything closes at 8. Meaning you are unable to get into public transportation or taxi after that time. We had to walk 30 min to get back to the hotel. Nothing major, you really don’t hav to leave this hotel because it is stunning

"Excellent hospitality and service. Great variety of foods were served in buffet breakfast and dinner. I was surprised by the all you can drink beers, wine, sake and whiskey. The yakuta experience was also fun. "
"The hotel facilities are very traditional and well kept, our room was amazing from the awesome lake view to the nice tatami floors. The staff was very helpful and they provided support in both Japanese and English with ease. The kaiseki style dinner is a must, as it is an entire experience of delicious and elevated Japanese dishes with Western influences, we were left satisfied physically and mentally. Please remember that you need to book the kaiseki with the half-board additional option if your stay is short, in our case we only stayed one night and we had to add it. Even if you stay for one night you can enjoy the different onsen options they have available which is one of the key assets, just get in your yukatas relax and enjoy."
"The breakfast is great, it has variety, a small western option with toast fruit , yogourt, coffe, and a station with fish options, sunny side eggs and omellets, they also have a pork stew that is very tasty with potatoes. Tons of japanese style side dishes, soups and soba noodles. Complementary drinks, be aware that the restaurant is only open for breakfast and late night soba noodles from 930 to 11 pm. Small portion
The hotel is 30 min walk from Gotemba station, but a taxy from There will cost you 12 bucks ( canadian) just use your taxi go app.
They have free ebikes for up to 2 hours and after you just have to pay 200 yen per hour.
If you are planning to go to mount Fuji the bus from gotemba station is about a bit longer tenn an hour.
The views from the area and the terrace of mount fuji are Breath taking.
The onsen is small but has 3 pools and sauna.
You will be away from foreing tourist in this location.
Explore the area after or before shopping at Gotmba outlet malls.
The staff is shy but amazing and very polite."
"Everything about this place is incredible and fabulous- Michelin restaurant, outdoor Onsen, room amenities and professionally trained staff who are world class"
