"We found an active bedbug when we opened the couch to turn it into a bed. This was 11:30 pm. The host never responded (even three days later). "Just next to the train station which sounds like it good be a negative but the area is busy and bustling. Lots of other hotels on the platz but this one is quirky and has its own identity. Bike and tandem rental optional. 15 min walk to the cathedral area. Shops and cafes nearby. Breakfast was ok but not amazing. Nearby croissants and cafes better for first meal of the day. Good bar and an excellent negroni! Staff friendly and direct."
