Hollywood Casino at Greektown

8/10 Good
"My only complaint really is that they were short staffed, so my first experience checking in I had to wait in a life with over 20 people. That took a while and got me behind schedule but even with that being the case. The worker who checked me in remained positive. My other complaint is parking isn’t inconsistent. I didn’t see if there was a specific time posted on when valet parking stops, but the parking was inconsistent. Sometimes valet parking was open, other times I had to self park in the lot which was kind of an inconvenience having to go around the other side of the building unknowingly and possibly parking far from the door. The room was beautiful, thankful for two tvs, thankful for A MICROWAVE seems hard to come across nowadays in Detroit hotels for some reason, first time using a steamer was not prepared for that still not used to it, still prefer a board but it was neat. The view in my room was amazing. The internet connection kept going in and out with my iPhone 16pro max like if I walk a certain distance away from the tv it would disconnect whatever was playing through my phone, Spotify, or YouTube but thankful for “smart tvs”"

"Another great stay here. Everything was clean, worked as it should, and staff is always pleasant. First time trying the breakfast buffet and it was very good. Convenient location to downtown. Around the block from the frr "people mover" which does a loop and takes you to different areas of downtown. Amazing water/Canada views. Pool and hot tub is a nice way to unwind. Haven't used the fitness room but there is one available. A little pricey but the convenience, cleanliness, and safety is worth it."
