Historic Highland Park Cottage

  • This charming home in Historic Highland Park features a fully renovated kitchen and baths while preserving its original character. Steps from Lakeview District’s restaurants & nightlife, and neighborhood parks. A short drive to UAB Hospital—named to Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2026—as well as the city's downtown , a variety of restaurants for foodies, stadiums, theaters, and local attractions.

    There are several great restaurants right near the house, a nice Piggly Wiggly grocery store is a quarter mile down the road, and on Saturday morning there is a lovely farmers market at Pepper Place, which is exactly 1/2 mile down the hill from the house. If you have any specific questions of things to do or places to go, I am available to assist.

Gorgeous craftsman full of historic details, clearly restored with care and some very tasteful updates.Great proximity to entertainment district and downtown. Would absolutely stay there whenever a Birmingham visit is possible!

Great property, very clean, lovely home and neighborhood. Very well stocked, beds comfortable and everything well done. We had a minor issue figuring out the key box, but were able to Google and figure it out. One of the best stocked homes I have stayed in while traveling.
