Lakefront Cabin with Dock & Ramp

Bring your boat, or enjoy the complementary paddle boards, fishing rods, multiple TV’s, games, or just enjoy a book overlooking the lake. 10 mins from Grashopper put-in. 3 miles from a Dollar General. Deck overlooking the lake is a great spot to grill and relax. Private dock, with shared ramp. The dock is not accessible for boats at winter pull.

Great location for fishing if that’s what you’re in for.

You can get to all the good spots on the Chick from here. Lots of boat ramps nearby including the one on the property.

Winter Wonderland

The home was more beautiful than described. The view of the lake was spectactular. Enjoyed seeing so much wildlife from waterfowl, eagles, songbirds to deer from the cozy and warm den. Very private but meeting an occasional neighbor walking their dog was nice too. For those looking for a summer vacation this home would be perfect as well. I came to attend the Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival which was great.

Anniversary Visit

Celebrating our 37th trip around the sun together. Lake views and sunsets from the deck were outstanding, we would’ve stayed here for those alone. Pretty, comfortable and welcoming home to visit.

Peaceful location

Was a peaceful few days - visits each day by geese, deer and cardinals. Internet is pretty slow so glad didn't have any work to do while there.

Beautiful cabin overlooking the lake

Perfect Home Base

We stayed at this home for the Bass Nation High School National Championship fishing tournament. We stayed for a week. The house had all that we needed and was a great place to rest up for each day's events. Access to the lake was a plus. As other reviews stated, be prepared for a beautiful sunset. The owner/property manager was extremely easy to deal with.

Dayton Stay

The cabin has great views of sunrise and sunsets over the lake. It was very clean and well stocked. The location was in close proximity to restaurants and a grocery store. Little rural town with friendly folks.

Beautiful get away

We loved this property and enjoyed our time there. The hosts response to any of my questions was almost immediate. He gave us great information. The place was well stocked and was very nice. The views were breathtaking. We saw deer every morning and some Eagles daily. We are casual fishers and were able to catch fish every day. I would definitely book this again.

Rural Relaxation

The cabin is located in a beautiful neighborhood. The amenities are exactly as described. Spent a lot of time on the deck and dock overlooking Chickamauga Lake. It is the perfect place to getaway and relax. We loved our stay! Communication with Zach was fast and friendly. Useful tip - Dayton is a short drive away to get groceries or for eating out.

Views to die for

The lake log cabin was pristinely clean and well kept. The kitchen was very well stocked with table ware and cooking untensils. The setting right on the water at a perfect elevation with a large deck and huge windows was to die for. We used the very nice gas grill right on the beautiful deck to prepare meals everyday. The provided paddle boards and swimming/boat dock were an added bonus for enjoying beautiful Lake Chickamauga. Our stay at this gorgeous, serene property could not have been more pleasant, peaceful or restful!

Relaxing, quiet placr

If you want to escape the noise of the city, this is your place. The view is terrific, wildlife serene, and ambiance is relaxing. We actually saw more animals than humans :) However, if you want to catch fish from the dock, then July is not the best month as we tried many baits and lures without much luck. We chartered a local fishing service and caught 6 bass though. Overall, this is a great place to relax and recharge. Oh, and Zach was terrific making sure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful Water Sunsets

Great location on the water and totally as appears in pictures & description. Communication was GREAT and would stay at this location again. Great host and wonderful wildlife daily. Everything we needed to BBQ and relax our evenings away on the balcony. Wonderful place to be disconnected and relax. For knowledge more than complaint: If you want to be a digital nomad - can't do it here. We were vacationing, so watching TV or working on laptops was not on our agenda. However, if it had been, would have been difficult as the internet speed was too slow for many activities. Note that there is no laundry capability. Is clearly not listed in the amenities, but I missed it and was disappointed I didn't realize. Lastly, no screens on the windows meant no potential for opening to get fresh air unless we wanted the potential of the bugs inside the house. The weather wasn't too hot or muggy for us and would have preferred the fresh air throughout the house. Was however able to open the door to the balcony (with a screen door) and make do (so not an impossibility).
