"Beautiful little cabin in a lovely secluded location. Clean, comfortable, extremely quiet. The only issue we found is - the hot water heater is horribly undersized. Any more than one 10-min shower and you’ll be taking a COLD shower! Lovely retreat for a couple, but a shower together? Out of the question! My wife and I took AM/PM shifts on the 2nd day after it took my breath away on day 1."

"My friends and I rented marks house for about a month for part of our snowmobile season and its great spot. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers and trail is like 1/4 mile from the driveway. House was nice and clean plenty of room for everyone to sleep"

"Although the cabin was not cleaned before we arrived, the Vacasa cleaning crew came right over after we called. They said it was a scheduling problem that caused them to not have the cabin cleaned before we got there. I would have expected a proactive call to let us know about the problem and for them to have corrected the schedule before we got there and called them about it. Vacasa is also refunding us our cleaning fee."

"Not only was the space perfect, but the owners made it that much better. Across the street there is a creek that is so fun to play in. They have an outdoor cooking area that protects you from weather but is so much fun to cook on. The screen room is for games and the humming birds are so silly to watch. "We enjoyed our stay at the cabin--everything was very clean and well organized, with coffee and tea, all the utensils and pots one would need. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of towels. We especially enjoyed the fact that there was a fire pit--lovely for a warm evening. We were able to get back and forth to Colby College in 30 minutes and had dinner in Skowhegan."

The cabin was extremely clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot, and the views of the lake can’t be beat, and the location of this cabin is also ideal- it was close to many hikes, and extremely close to the local grocery store and all the restaurants."

"This is our second year staying at the cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was just as great a stay as last year. We enjoy how open but cozy it is, the charm of the knotty pine and being close to our family. There is everything you need including for cooking. "We stayed at Ron's place for a 4 day weekend of ATVing in the area. His cabin was immaculate. The location was super quiet. He was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The view of the pond was stunning and spending some time on the dock after our rides quite relaxing. We will definitely be back again and would recommend his spot to anyone."

"They aren’t kidding when they say it’s wicked cute, because it is! I had booked this place on accident thinking I had chosen a different property (silly mistake) and it ended up being quite the happy accident! It’s right along a river, and super quiet. The owners are super friendly and accommodating and the cabin is just perfect. We are absolutely looking to come back during the summer months!"

"Found the cabin on the second try, it’s hidden in plain sight, right off the road. Hosts provided welcoming touches like a personal sign and flowers. It’s a basic setup much like camping and we brought some basic kitchen stuff and lighting devices, which helped. The stream was full and flowing fast and loud, but subsided over time. "Andy’s Place has a great location on the pond. Fully equipped inside and out. My wife and I fully enjoyed our stay and the weather was fantastic. I brought a canoe with me although kayaks are included in the rental. No luck fishing on the pond but saw loons up close. Did catch a few trout on the Piscataquis River a couple of miles away. We would love to return. We appreciated all the amenities."
