"The cabin was centrally located and a great fit for what we needed. We were a group of five and that seemed like a perfect number for the space (although theoretically I think it can sleep ten). If you plan to cook for larger groups you should bring some of your own pots and pans, and paper plates and utensils (the kitchen does have some things, but not enough for cooking for more than 3-4 ppl). Overall a great stay! The fire pit and river views were lovely. "

""Just what the doctor ordered" absolutely loved Andy's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully for the fall season. Everything we needed, including firewood for the fire pit outside and the wood stove. It was great having the kayaks on site for a paddle on the pond. The screened porch was awesome. "My ONLY negative comment was the confusion (and I was not the only guest) with the unattended check in. Main house had a note saying "remote check in"...there was nobody onsite to guide uou on what/where/how. I had not received my instructions prior with room # and access details...another guest helped me out and I guessed the correct room number...OTHERWISE...FABULOUS!!!! The rooms are new, fresh, well appointed and far more than what I expected in rural Maine!! Exceptional!! Every detail!! I highly recommend!!!"
