This was a fantastic place for a large group to stay. It is perfectly set up with everything you need, and lots of activities to keep kids entertained. Michael was a fantasic host and ensured our stay was easy and relaxing. I highly recommend!
We had a great stay. The place was very well equipped. The children loved feeding the animals and using the playground. Supplies for us to cook breakfast were amazing. Enjoyed the BBQ. A great site for extended family gatherings.
All the members of the family had a great time over Christmas at this Bilpin farmstay. The host was welcoming then left us to do our own thing, before returning to check if all was well (without interrupting us) and then again to say "Goodbye."The facilities suited our 4 families and all grandchildren from 11 to 23 enjoyed doing some things together or just chilling out. The farm dam with its kayaks and swimming was a hit. Even on the day it rained lightly there were options to keep people occupied. The breakfast supplies covered many different options and the kitchen was well equipped. All the grandchildren enjoyed having the responsibility of feeding the animals and collecting the eggs.We didn't tour Bilpin much as we had Christmas day celebrations and then a family birthday on Boxing Day. Still, there would be a variety of activities in the local area had we chosen those.
Stayed with a group of friends and family over Christmas
We had a wonderful stay at this lodge over Christmas, it was warm and beautifully presented, all the rooms were very spacious. Mike was extremely helpful and friendly too. Plenty of activities to keep the kids and kidults entertained, the animals, the dam, yabby pond, playground, trampoline, table tennis, spa, pool, basketball, the list is endless! We also absolutely loved all the bakeries around. Would not hesitate to come back again!
When we arrived we absolutely loved the serenity of the place. Easy parking beautiful landscapes and so much to do. The play room was great for all ages from 3 right up to adults. the kitchen was fully stocked and had everything you needed. Michael was fantastic, he went through all the rules and showed us around the huge property. We even got to feed the barn animals as well as chickens, and also collected farm fresh eggs from the chicken pen. The kids young and old enjoyed this. We all felt very secure and would love to go back at some point, when we can enjoy the surroundings a bit more. If there was one piece of advice i could give to make the place perfect that would be to add screens to doors and windows downstairs as well as some ceiling fans or stand fans, just for some circulation of air on a muggy day/night. We did try have door open as the breeze was great but then there were so many flies. Thanks for a wonderful stay the whole tribe enjoyed it. Veronique
Suggesting you read it carefully, we thought as we booked for 14 people we would have access to the whole property and only we would stay there. We had to pay an additional fee for another bedroom and so other wouldn't stay.
We had an enjoyable stay with lots of indoor activities for the kids. The property has a lot of facilities including a well-built kennel for my pet. We enjoyed the fresh eggs and breakfast.
We had a wonderful stay at Bilpin Country Lodge. Together with our family of 13 .. and 2 dogs. Michael the owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He showed us around the property. Then he left us to enjoy our stay. The children loved feeding the animals and collecting the eggs. Nice big Kitchen. Love the fireplace. Would definitely recommend this place. We made beautiful memories
Michael and his team absolutely excel with how they present their house, I didn't give accuracy of online listing 5 stars simply because I don't think the online listing gives it justice! It is better in real life!
We can't wait to come back, we had cold and rainy weather and the house was so fantastic that it did not impact our stay in any way. I would love to stay again.

Great family holiday over Easter
Our family of 8 adults, 5 children, (ages ranging from 9 - 6), and a baby, stayed during the Easter weekend.
Accommodation was great and the range of activities available was exceptional.
We spent a lot of time at the dams - canoeing, catching yabbies and fishing.
Mike, Kath & Nat visited daily, were all friendly, & encouraged the city kids to have some special experiences eg. teaching them how to look after the chooks, and taking one of the kids & Grandma in the trailer behind the tractor to deliver the garbage bins to the main road.
Breakfast provisions were delivered daily and were generous.
The family voted this holiday as our best so far.

Stayed April 2014, travelled with family
This was a great place to get away to, animals to feed, eggs to collected, yabbies to catch, canoeing, indoor trampoline, table tennis and basketball hoop. A TV with all the channels you could need !
Apple picking walking distance away with Blue mountain attractions on your doorstep.
Really a fabulous place !!!
Beautiful location great facilities, something for everyone - from kids to adults. Owner is very helpful and accommodating. We all had a really nice time
Absolutely gorgeous location, fantastic property, clean & friendly welcoming owners. We had a group of 18 stay, and we all fit comfortably.
Pool is a little small, it is more like a huge spa. And no air con in living area down stairs, but air con in all bedrooms.
Absolutely highly recommend this property.
There are only amazing comments to say about the memorable time we had as a family for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The accommodation was just perfect for our group and all the amenities were absolutely ideal for all the cross section of ages. My parents have come home from the weekend with such a warm feeling of happiness and I have to say that it was because not only the whole family were together but the feeling and ambiance of the pretty Bilpin residence was second to none. Thank you so much Mike you will see us again !!! Cheers, Katherine and the family
We loved our little farm stay! It was perfect for our family including the puppies! We would come back over and over !

Hi Mike,Thank you for opening up your place for my team to use for our youth grouptraining retreat. We had heaps of fun and the house + facilities provided such a great environment to have productive meetings and conversations. We all would love to come back again is the short answer! I believe one ofmy leaders (Daniel Yeung) filled in a comment card. Personally, I was veryimpressed with the place. It was clean, Kath was really friendly, the facilities + house are well maintained, the kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of things to do on the grounds, the animals were great tohave around, beds were comfy, plenty of showers and toliets, breakfast being supplied was really generous of you and you have been great to dealwith in your flexiblility, communication, information, promptness and kindness. We apologies for the kettle lever that seemed to have given out during ourstay. Please let me know if there were any other things that were damagedotherwise I think that was the only thing to highlight. Also, we were wondering if the diamond python is still around? We couldn'tfind him/her with the cooks.Regards,Daniel

I was looking for accommodation in Kurrajong or Bilpin for a group of 9.We are a sketch group who like single and twin share rooms of a high standard. My searches showed Bilpin Springs Lodge to be the answer.Mike the owner was very helpful with all my questions and I made a quick visit prior to our visit, to see the bedrooms ( so I would know who to put where) and how this very spacious lodge would work for us.Kath was there to show us around and couldn't have been more friendly. On the day of our arrival there was a collective hum of approval, and everyone was thrilled to get an ensuite with their room, and amazed at the lovely sitting areas on both levels. The huge kitchen made it so easy for everyone to lend a hand at meal times. It felt like it was our own country home. We sketched from daylight to dusk, enjoyed the country air, the autumn colours, the birds and animals, and our own company. There was so much laughter we even outdid the Bellbirds and Kookaburras.Everyone would like to return when I organise another Sketching Trip.

This place is fantastic!!! There were 25 of us (13 adults and 12 kids) and we had a wonderful time. There is so much to do - go for bush walks, have a paddle on the dam in a kayak, bounce on the trampolin, have a splash in the spa pool, have a barbie, collect your eggs from the chickens for breakie!!! It was a wet weekend but because of the massive shed attached to the side of the house we had lots of space and the kids didn't get cabin fever! We have already booked for next year! THANK YOU!

We had such a fantastic time at Bilpin Springs Lodge! We've rented the whole house celebrating my 40th birthday together with friends. Each room has a separate bathroom, the facilities are many and great, so we've been all very comfortable. The kids absolutely loved it and this stay will be part of their great childhood memories. The adults were even happier as they could chill out on the beautiful veranda, cooking up great meals in the kitchen and bbq, playing table tennis and enjoying the spa as it was extremely hot during our weekend. We are now thinking of making this an annual ritual going forward as we loved it so much.Particular thanks to the owner who answered patiently my many questions and was very helpful with all the preparations. This is definitely a place I would recommend - particularly for families as it has to offer so much to children and is a safe place for them to freely run around. They will be exhausted by then end of the day and sleep well through the night!
