If I could give Hotel Pod Vezi 10 stars I would. My daughter and I just left from a four night stay with them. I can’t say enough about how amazing the staff was - they were super friendly and helped us reserve a taxi to the train station. They were overall so friendly and spoke English very well. The location could not be beat. Under the tower as the name translates to is a perfect distance to old town and the castle. For longer trips the tram station was just a few blocks away. The atmosphere of the place was calming, quiet, safe and very clean. They obviously take a lot of pride in their hotel and it shows. The room had everything we needed including a small fridge, a closet, pillows, a/c, and other toiletries. The shower was very clean too and had very modern amenities- even a towel dryer! The cost was perfect too. I can’t say how fantastic this place was enough! Their morning breakfast was out of this world. So many yummy options and you could sit inside or outside. I loved that the breakfast was just for the hotel guests too so you weren’t competing with others. So many delicious options were provided - we often were not hungry until 2! What more can I say besides I can’t wait to book my trip back to Prague and stay at the Pod Vezi!!

From check in, with Jacob helping us plan excursions during our stay, to the sumptuous happy hour in a room fit for a king, the facility proved to be everything we could have ever dreamed of. The decor is regal. Each and every room a royal masterpiece. The dining room is beautiful and the food was sumptuous. The location was steps from the Palace, the river, the Jewish section and every other must see sites on our to-do list. We have travelled the world and stayed in many luxury hotels. None could Match the levels achieved by the Alchemist!!!! Five Stars does not do it justice. Ten stars all the way.

Truly a beautiful property, and we were delighted to tour the amenities before we used an actual, physical key to open the door to our gorgeous room. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed dining outside in the fine weather as well as inside when it rained overnight. We were busy touring Prague and did not come back in time for the afternoon wine and cheese, but very much appreciated the opportunity. The staff is incredibly helpful, and cheerfully printed (!) directions to various nearby stores.
