"Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. "

"Lovely studio, but 2 things to address:
1 - the shower is not powerful when the heat is turned up.
2- The bed is 2 singles joined together, it's on wheels, any movement and the bed just slides across the floor, maybe change the wheels to locking wheels, simple fix
But I'd definitely stay again, lovely little studio."

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Peaceful and unique establishment with amazing view of the Capital. We actually slept with curtains open something we never do as the scenery was so spectacular of the lights of Cardiff.
Room very spacious, bed extremely comfortable. Shame ladies nail varnish marks on bath tub, this can be easily removed with a bit of remover and a cotton wool bud.
Staff approachable, polite and friendly.
Evening meal was amazing, both had the duo of Lamb dish which provided and explosion of flavours on the taste buds. The person serving was so nice and a credit to the establishment.
Breakfast first two morning was table service and staff very attentative. Third morning self serve, slight gripe that even though choice still good, tables were not being cleared of anything until after guest had vacated, leading to messy looking dining room.
Would love love love to stay again.

"Lovely staff with a great welcome and fantastic service throughout. The room in the stable block was perfect, quiet, clean, warm and comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully cooked from local produce. And what’s nicer than an evening drink in front of an open fire. Perfect"
