Gods County Cottage on Swan River

If your looking for peace and tranquility look no further. If you love to fish, hunt, or hike this is what dreams are made of. This property is located ON the Swan River. Breathtaking views from inside or on the deck. Wake up with a cup of coffee and a fishing pole!
It's situated between the Mission, Swan Mountain Ranges and the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex which is considered the “crown jewel” of the Wilderness system, and is comprised of over 1.5 million acres of untamed wilderness.

Enjoy the many amenities:
Lots of hiking trails throughout Swan Valley
Boating or Kayaking on Swan Lake 15 miles or Van Lake 4 miles
10 minutes to the Mercantile for gas, groceries, and deli.
Golfing at Eagle Bend in Seeley Lake 40 miles

Fish or float down the Swan River
Explore Glacier National Park
Skiing in the local resorts

Fully equipped Kitchen with oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, coffee pods, creamer, sugar, spices, and paper towels.
Bathroom has body soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, extra towels and toilet paper.

If your looking to unwind and unplug this is the place! It is a little slice of heaven. I just want to make sure you understand the layout of the cottage.

There is a bedroom with a Queen size bed. Perfect for a couple. The loft upstairs has a full bed and 2 single beds, but you must climb a steep ladder to get there. It is only about four feet tall, so you must crawl around on your hands and knees. Kids love this, but not all adults do. There is also a full-sized fold out bed in the living room but It can be inconvenient to make every day. I just didn't want you to have any surprises and make sure you are clear on the sleeping arrangements.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
We look forward to having you as our guests.
Sandy

Small slice of heaven

This was our first time coming to Montana but definitely not our last. If you're looking for peace, nature, and beauty look no further! I cannot say enough great things about this property and the owners. We spent 2 days just hanging out and exploring around the property. Our teenage daughter loved the loft area and ample outdoor seating to read and draw. My husband loved being able to fish 20 feet from the door. I loved watching the squirrels and chipmunks.

Fantastic view but meager accomodations

The second bedroom is an attic space accessible via tiny stairs up a steep slope into a virtual crawl space - children could navigate the plywood floor (sheer carpet cover) on their knees while ducking head toward the mattresses This is a loft/attic which opens to the downstairs 100% - The living space is probably 200 square feet and the water heater did not support more than 5-7 minutes of hot water The full sized bed in bedroom was nice The loveseat in front room opens to small bed If your party is small and you don't mind the smaller/camplike experience, the view and riverfront location is everything. The hot tub is on the owners deck which is very close to this "cottage" - zero privacy
