"The room was clean but the hallway floor needed attention. However, there were some oil company workers staying at the motel that had stuff on their boots so they were tracking stuff into the motel. Everything else was very clean, the staff was excellent, and the breakfast good. The breakfast lady was keeping the breakfast area very clean. We were able to park close to the front door with our handicapped placard. This is the second time we have stayed there this year and both times were very worthwhile. When we make it that way again, we will stay there for sure."

"The property was as described. Found the property clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. There are plenty of linens and pillows, and comfortable beds. The location was perfect for our adventure to the Big Thicket. Also close to a small lake with a swimming area."

"We were back for a 2nd year and the stay was fantastic again. Will is super responsive when we had a few questions along the way, otherwise we relaxed and enjoyed his beautiful, spacious lake house - a perfect getaway!"
