Aqua Vista Retreat by Comfy Spots Vacation Rentals

Aqua Vista is located on the shore of Lake Greenbriar in beautiful Holly Lake Ranch Resort located in East Texas. This beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is in a quiet cul-de-sac with a fantastic view of Lake Greenbriar and comes fully equipped to make your vacation one to remember. A private boat dock with screened in boat house comes with 4 kayaks for water fun, including swimming, fishing, and exploring. A sun-room in the main house is perfect for morning coffee and eagle-watching.

Deer roam the property making this the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying nature. Three large screen TVs are located in the family room and bedrooms, and the living room and master bedroom feature romantic fireplace. A large dining table will accommodate your big family gathering.

Aqua Vista is close to a swimming pool, an 18-hole golf course, and restaurant, all on the Holly Lake Ranch property, and available to you as our guests. Other fun activities such as tennis, pickle ball, mini golf, shuffleboard and disc golf available. Within a short drive, you can go antique exploring in Mineola and Gladewater, and for those who love flea markets, Canton is a once-a-month event about one hour away that you won't want to miss.

You can be just as busy or secluded as you choose to be during your vacation at Aqua Vista! Feel safe and secure in this gated community that features 24-hour Security. Come and enjoy this spectacular retreat!

Boat/Jet Skis/Kayaks: Holly Lake Ranch allows for any watercraft to be used on Lake Greenbriar. At the security gate, the ranch will charge a fee of $100/day PER watercraft. This fee is paid directly to Holly Lake Ranch as you enter.

Perfect getaway

This was our second time staying here and we love it. The house is the perfect size for a large family. The kayaks that are available gave us lots of enjoyment. The deck is amazing and offered great fishing. We caught so many big fish that my kids are hooked now. This was an amazing vacation that we won't forget.

A great gathering space!

Spent a surprise birthday weekend here with a group of friends and it was the perfect space. Plenty of room to spend time together, a relatively well stocked kitchen, a gorgeous view, and lots to do even in December. The management also responded quickly with a couple of last minute requests and Alicia was very helpful.

Great house on the lake!

We had a wonderful time and plan to come back next year. The boathouse was great, the main house was spacious, clean, and just what we needed for our group. The host is incredibly friendly and responsive too.

Beautiful View!

Our family of 7 had a wonderful week here! House was a great size, plenty of room for all of us to stretch out. The dock was awesome for lots of fishing. Hot tub was so peaceful with my morning coffee. The only thing I would suggest is having an alarm or maybe a lock high up on the downstairs door that leads to hot tub since the room is obviously where the kids would stay with the bunk beds. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Away

The house was perfect for us! We absolutely loved the area! We took a trip to Canton for the afternoon. We enjoyed the hot tub and the relaxed feeling in the house!! The large dining room table was perfect for our puzzle and all our game playing! There were plenty of bath towels and towels for the hot tub. We especially loved pickleball courts at the clubhouse. The restaurant was also very tasty!! Thank you for such a fun weekend!!

Outstanding

This house was perfect for our party of 10. There was plenty of room for everyone. The lake was beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting in the sunroom looking at the view. Kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Boys played golf while the girls hiked to the waterfall. Overall excellent stay. Only suggestions would be to add a stand alone ice maker as the one in the fridge couldn’t keep up with that many people. Also add some anti-slip strips to the tub/shower.

Beautiful Home with Awesome Lake Views

This was a beautiful home with plenty of room and amenities for a large family. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, playing games, watching movies, grilling and just spending times with family for a long weekend. The fire pit looks nice for cooler weather. We rented golf carts and enjoyed riding around the neighborhood and over to the nice swimming pool one afternoon. Host was great to work with and took great care of our needs. The only challenge for us was the steep hill back up from the lake because we are not as young as we used to be. The other amazing thing was that you see deer everywhere in this addition. It was a nice place for a weekend getaway.

Thanksgiving 2023

Family from Tulsa, Colorado, New Orleans, and five cities in Texas gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving at a family farm in Shady Grove, only a 10 minute drive from Holly Lake Ranch. Five Adults, 2 college students, and 2 teens stayed in this perfect house. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking traditional Thanksgiving fare that was then taken to the farm for celebration. The dock was perfect for fishing, and the furnishings were truly lovely. Really a great place for our Tulsa clan. Loved watching the sun come up over the lake from the charming sun room, with my morning coffee. Will return again.

Excellent Vacation and Location

Our family had an amazing time staying at the lake. It's close enough to Tyler to visit the city for quick resupply trips, but distant enough to be cozy. The communication from everyone was outstanding and I definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect relaxing getaway with a great lake view

HIghly recommend this VRBO home, as it was well equipped, clean, and a very comfortable and lovely place to stay! Amenities were amazing, and the owners thought of everything. We had a much needed family get-away and couldn't have enjoyed the home more.

This home is gorgeous and very spacious. The sun room windows look out to the lake and is the best view in the house. The kitchen was well equipped. The steep hill to the lake may be difficult for some, but we had no problems. The kayaks were easily accessible. The Bald Eagles on the lake were an unexpected bonus for this property. The owners communication was excellent! We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful family getaway
