"We stayed two nights here and absolutely loved it! We travel a lot and this was definitely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in a while! Deb and her husband are great hosts and made our stay very enjoyable! We enjoyed coffee and banana bread (that Deb made and left for us!) on the porch and looked at the beautiful view. We’ll definitely be back if we’re in town again! "

"We can’t say enough good things about this home. The view looking over the lake and mountains is stunning. There are beautiful picture windows allowing the light to flood the house. Everything was very clean and inviting. The beds were all comfortable. The communication with the owner was easy and quick. We really hope to come back again!"

"This place is just WOW. We chanced upon it while browsing for a place to stay one night near Anchorage. This place has everything that a family with small kids needs. Very modern kitchen equipments, excellent beds, mattresses and blankets. Everything is so well kept. Loved this place and would definitely stay here again if we return to the Anchorage area. "We fell in love with Wasilla and the ease of getting anywhere from the house. It was still an easy drive to Anchorage to check out top attractions and look for moose. "Driving into the neighborhood of the Cottage made us feel at home. The property is very inviting and cozy. The inside of the cottage is bright and welcoming. The kitchen is perfect size for the 2 of us and everything was cleaned, labeled and ready to use. The bed is very comfortable and the mountain view from the bedroom is amazing! We enjoyed being able to walk up to the front yard area to enjoy our coffee and more of the view also. Almost every day of our stay we got to see moose in the yard...

"Great last minute value in the height of the season. Just coming off a road trip in the lesser 48 we stayed in a few historical hotels that did not have in suite restroom so we were prepared for what we reserved, shared restrooms and showers. Staff was attentive and respectful. The facility is tastefully decorated for world travelers who’ve become accustomed to and appreciate cultural differences. The location and proximity to everything I needed to attend to was icing on the cake. Best value hotel in town. Why over pay for a pool you won’t use, a fitness area you won’t step foot in because if you are a jogger the trails in town are so much better. This is just the sort of meat and potatoes hotel I love."
