"My kids and I enjoyed our stay at this lake house in July. Overall it's a nice location in a quiet neighborhood with some nice amenities including beautiful lake views and access, a hot tub, a master suite for adults, an arcade and separate space for the kids, a nicely furnished deck with grill, and a whole home sound system. We did have some hiccups with a deferred maintenance item because the kitchen sink was literally falling off of it's under counter mount and the maintenance person was unable to get parts to repair it during our stay. The cleaning crew had also shut off the air conditioning on a 100 degree day so we basically had no air and an uncomfortably hot house for the first night of our stay until the AC unit finally caught up the following day. We also found that the kayaks and paddle board that were supposed to be on the dock were missing. The host did their best to quickly respond to communication about the issues and while nothing could be done about the sink and AC they did bring us two new kayaks for the kids to enjoy halfway through our stay. Overall we enjoyed the location and extras that made the house unique but do feel that it was overpriced given the deferred maintenance and other issues we encountered. It's also worth noting that the path down to the lake front is pretty treacherous down a steep hill with loose shale stone and while nice to have, it's definitely not for small children, older adults, or anyone with any kind of mobility issues."
