"Staff were polite and friendly. Room was nice, furniture was a little dated, but not horrible. For being the lowest priced hotel in the area this time of year, very good accommodations. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head at night without spending too much, this is the place."

"Room and staff were great and friendly. Complementary breakfast needs some work. Had better breakfast at a motel. Waterpark is small and more for little kids. People bring animals there and dont pick up after their animals. As soon as you step outside there is dog poop all over. Not to mention all the yellow snow right in frontbof the door. Like come people if your not going to pick up after your pets at least walk them to the other side of the parking lot"
New Lake Home w Water Toys & Game Rm! In Town & On Snowmobile Trails
6/10 Okay
"PROS: The location of the home right on the lake is great. We appreciated that pets were allowed. Shampoos and soaps provided were a nice touch. CONS: Our first concern was driving into the driveway as it's right off the highway and downhill. There was a large mound of snow to be overtaken. It snowed whilst we were there and it wasn't plowed. We had to manually shovel the entrance even though we had all wheel drive. The dishwasher did not work. Owner said he would contact his appliance person yet no one came. We didn't have a dishwasher for the week. There were 25 towels in the dryer.Owner said we didn't have to put them away but we needed them for our stay. A bathroom sink had a chunk out of it with tape X across part of it. & a use with caution note. Bathtub jets spewed out black mold that went all over the children.T.V. remote had dead batteries. The 3rd bedroom advertised 6 twin beds but there were only 2 (there are fold out cots in closets). 3 out of the 4 can lights in the kitchen ceiling burned out. The can opener doesn't work. There were cobwebs and the glass shelves in the kitchen had a thick layer of dust as did the glasses on them, etc. I don't want to be picky but Josh, you really need to give a little TLC to your home. It is a wonderful location and has lots to offer."
"Despite a no-smoking policy, our room smelled strongly of cigars when we checked in. We were told we could not be moved to another room because we booked through Expedia. (It was a Sunday night in February and they admitted they had many open rooms.) Even after housekeeping sprayed air freshener, the strong odor remained. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited and were of mediocre quality."
Up North + Minocqua, Wi. + Lake Shishebogama = God’s Country
10/10 Excellent
"Michael the host was very good. We was able to check in a little earlier than check in time. We loved the cabin everything we needed was there. Will def recommend this cabin to friends. "
Dog-friendly, lakefront home with dock, kayaks, canoe, bike & fireplace
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our stay and will recommend it. The house was clean and well appointed. Plenty of room for trucks and trailers, we came to ride snowmobiles. Close access to trails and entertainment. I would have given it 5 stars, but something really needs to be done with the ice on the entry stairs. It has been mentioned before and I thought it was a little petty until I slipped and fell the first day. All was good, didn’t get hurt but it could have ruined our entire stay. "
Chalet on the Lake, Fireplace, Washer/Dryer, Snowmobile, ATV, Sleeps 8
8/10 Good
"The cabin has a great view of Little Muskie Lake and an active bald eagle nest! We had a great time running the snowmobiles onto the lake and on the trails to other lakes and through beautiful wooded areas.
The chalet itself was plenty big enough for the 7 folks who were there and had pretty much everything you would need for a 5-day stay except food. We had a blast playing games at the long table and talking around the fire. I would rent this chalet again if we decide to snowmobile in this area again.
However, some of the furniture needs to be updated and perhaps rearranged to accommodate the size of the rooms on the lower level. All the bedroom doors should be able to close. The toilet in the second bathroom sits on a platform that has no room for your feet, making it somewhat awkward to use."
