"Was pleasantly surprised to see how well kept and clean the unit was. The communication was great, and I appreciate the updates regarding the broken screen door. The only thing I wouldrecommend is to significantly reduce the number of air freshener plugs in the unit. Walking in you were immediately hit with a strong fragrance, and while it wasn’t bad, it was just very strong. I had to unplug them all during my stay as it felt like it was a bit too much. Just a cautionary heads up for anyone who may be asthmatic or have difficulty breathing- but other than this, the property was beautiful and the entire process of renting it was so easy! Hope to book again in the future!"

"The check-in process was smooth and easy. However, the beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were poor quality, extremely flat, and provided almost no support. The property also needed a deep cleaning, as there was a heavy buildup of dust. Improving the bedding and cleaning standards would make the stay much more comfortable."

"Overall our stay was perfect for our girl's trip celebrating a milestone birthday. The host answered my questions quickly leading up to our trip and even once we were there. A few points that bothered us throughout our stay: the listing states there is room for 4 cars however, the driveway can only fit 2 cars and 2 additional parking passes are available at a nearish parking lot. I would have appreciated being told upfront that the 2 additional spaces were not at the house. There is an outdoor gas fire pit, however, it would not stay lit unless you held down the igniter switch. So we were not able to enjoy that as we planned. The indoor fireplace is also gas and that worked great. I was confused with the host asking if I wanted to add on firewood which I agreed to before realizing it was gas. I was never charged for the firewood so maybe that was just a glitch.The hot tub was a little cloudy when we got there and only got worse as the trip progressed. It was also missing some of the headrests and some of the jets didn't work. There were items to test ph and shock it but we never had time for hot tub maintenance. It would have been nice if it was already pristine. There also wasn't clear directions regarding the house policies. I was provided with a link with information but it wasn't all accurate. There was no full guidebook on site that I could find. Overall, the property was exactly what we wanted but there was some things that irked us."

"Ron the host was great to work with and the property was right on the lake with a great view. Bring your walking shoes as not only is it nice on the property, but nearby as well. It is right at the base of BB slopes, but we were there for the Poconos Raceway Experience in the fall. Jim Thorpe was nearby for a scenic train ride and cute little historic mountain town. Remember towels and sheets for the trip"
