Dramatic long sweeping driveway. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, an open floor plan with cathedral wood ceilings in the living room, and log accents throughout. Guests cannot exceed the permitted occupancy at any time. - Bedroom 4 and bathroom 3 are located in the attached guest house. - Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request. - Guests are responsible for disposing of trash at the local dumpsite in accordance with the City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on the property. - AvantStay plows and clears the driveway and one pathway to the front door. We provide shovels for guests to use should they wish to clear paths on any other part of the property.

This home was wonderful, clean and quiet...and conveniently located. Our family/friends enjoyed the birthday weekend with our 2 dogs. Besides staying at the wonderful home, I must thank WOW Rentals. We had reserved another home, which was cancelled at the last minute due to repairs...not only did WOW Rentals find a replacement property for us to stay at, but they covered the upgraded price difference. It was such a relief to not have to worry about our lodging, since we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Great customer service!
Starlight Retreat is an impressive, light-filled, spacious home. We loved the big decks and the gorgeous views. The kitchen was really nice with lots of counter space and a great pantry. We also really enjoyed the pool table and very comfortable beds. Things felt clean and the house was well stocked. A few things needed maintenance though, like the living room recliners, the oven door, the broken doorknob from the living room to the front deck, the hot tub... At one point, a couple of river rocks came loose from one of the chimneys, rolled down the roof and crashed onto my niece's car, leaving a huge dent on its roof! The BBQ was also filled with rodent poop and when we called about it (disappointed, because we love to BBQ), WOW Realty simply said, “We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for letting us know.” End of subject.
We did enjoy our stay, however, and overall we're very comfortable and happy there. With just a few tweaks it would have been perfect!
Beautiful property with everything you need. Plenty of space for a dozen to congregate or have privacy.
The kitchen is extremely well stocked with all the amenities and enough dinnerware/glasses/silverware for multiple meals before you have to use the dishwasher.
Perfect porches for cooking on the gas grill and hanging out. Game room with pool table/ping pong table and wet bar (with wine fridge, mini-fridge, and sink) was where our group of 9 spent most of our time.
Beds are very comfortable, and three full baths plus half bath was perfect for our group. Plenty of towels, soap, etc provided.
Big garage for covered parking, quiet neighborhood 10 min drive from the village, less than a mile walk to the lake.
WOW rentals were perfect hosts. Due to COVID some small items like clothes hangers, ironing board, iron and hairdryer were no longer stocked. I texted them at 5pm and they were in the driveway at 7 pm with hangars expressing their concern that after two stores they could not locate the other items. 930 the next morning they showed up with what they could purchase on the 4th of July weekend. In passing, I mentioned I could not get the fireplaces to lite but did not put much effort into it. I told them I would call if I needed help. The next morning the handyman showed to ask if all was ok and if we needed any help with the fireplaces. You could not ask for better managers.
Just show up and enjoy, the house is perfect and if you have any issues I can assure you they will be addressed immediately!
We had an amazing time in this beautiful home ,we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, spending time upstairs playing pool 🎱 and ping-pong by the bar . We loved the amazing views.
We had a great time at this beautiful property. We would definitely rent again. It was spacious and very clean. The kids loved the bunk room and ping pong table!
Overall this was a great house - large, open concept, comfy rooms, and the area was fantastic - in a quiet beautiful neighborhood and under 10 mins from the slopes.
The kitchen had more drawers and cabinets than I’ve ever seen but supplies were sparse and missing some basics (e.g., cooking oils, salt, foil, working can opener, there were only a couple of glasses). There were also a few things that needed repairs - the dishwasher wasn’t properly bolted in and tipped over multiple times, the recliners were broken. All in all a good experience but expected a bit more for the price and from this management company.
The property was amazing. We rented the home for the week to celebrate our daughters 4th birthday. When you pull up the home has a major WOW factor. The only things I would comment about is that we weren’t aware that the property didn’t have air conditioning. This wasn’t a huge disappointment, but it was a little warm inside until the sun started to go down. Also we were notified that the jacuzzi didn’t work, another bummer. The other thing I would add is to maybe start stocking some extra household items. The house did have a keurig but no pods. Also was missing some other kitchen items like a measuring cup. We BBQ one night and the grill worked great and it was supplied with all the grilling utensils which was a plus. Overall the home was amazing and we would definitely rent it again in the near future!! Property management was on point and always responded by text message.
