Welcome to Eagle's Haven!

We have done our best to set our cabin up for enjoyment by families, close friends, and their canine companions.

For starters, our cabin has a great location... a lake view from the deck and west facing windows... our fenced-in backyard borders Meadow Park... the lake and dog park are a casual 10 minute walk... Snow Summit, the Village, and Vons are a 5 minute drive... and Bear Mountain is only 10 minutes away.

Outside, the hot tub is nicely situated among the trees in the backyard. It is offered to those interested for a nominal fee to help with the energy, cleaning, and maintenance needed. Also enjoy a Weber grill on the top deck and ping pong on the lower deck.

Inside we've equipped the cabin with modern amenities... like a beautifully remodeled kitchen and both baths... luxurious leather furniture... and comfy beds... all while keeping elements of rustic charm that remind you you're in the lovely Big Bear mountains.

The cabin includes three bedrooms with beds for 8. Two bedrooms have firm yet plush queen mattresses with lovely log construction bed frames. The third bedroom has a full / twin bunk... a twin size trundle bed underneath... plus an additional twin bed.

Other amenities include: 48" flat screen TV w/ Bluetooth sound bar so you can connect your music player... high speed Internet with all the common streaming services... forced air heat... a cozy fireplace... thoughtful lighting & electrical... a fully equipped kitchen... a BBQ and seating on the fully fenced-in deck... laundry room... a fully fenced in yard for your canine companions... and a flat parking pad for up to 3 cars.

Celebrated daughter’s birthday here and we had an amazing time from her being sooo amazed of this cabin to the the beautiful scenery from the balcony and not to mention our 3 dogs also seemed very happy here due to the back yard being fenced in and running around!!! Awesome host !! Will be looking to definitely come back!!! Thank You for allowing us these lifetime memories!!

Great Location

We loved our weekend at Eagle's Haven. Perfect location next to the park, easy check in, and had all the amenities to keep our kids entertained. The house was cozy but had plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 small kids. Very clean and comfortable. Everything was clearly labeled and communicated by the hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

Birthday Getaway

My family had a great stay at Eagles Haven. The house had everything a family of 5 could need. There were a Lot of extra throw blankets, games and puzzles. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and basic condiments. We enjoyed walking down to the lake area and playing at the park. We also explored downtown and a day at the slopes. All were just a short drive from the house. My family can’t wait to book our next trip.

Big Bear Lake

We really enjoy our stay at Eagle's Haven. We have been there 3 times and will continue to go back. Love the location, the ease and closeness to the dog park and city, the fenced back yard and the view of the lake. It is a chance for our grown-up kids to join us on a short vacation with the dogs. Highly recommend!

Great for families

We loved this property as the upstairs living area was very open and inviting. Our kids enjoyed playing at the park just on the other side of the fence of the backyard and we enjoyed using the hot tub as the snow fell one morning. 10/10 would recommend!

Great house - Great Location

This house was very nice and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the house was furnished comfortably. Nice kitchen to work in and stocked with everything we needed. We had 7 people and 2 dogs and no one felt cramped. The communication with the property manager was great.

Great family weekend getaway

4 adults and 4 kids ages 4-12. Home is cozy, clean and just as advertised. Kitchen is very well stocked with all the things needed to cook meals. TV/wi-fi worked great. No complaints at all. Very easy to get ahold of owner to ask a couple of questions. Would definitely stay again.

Everything about this home was perfect! The beds were comfortable. The house was impeccable. it was decorated adorable, and had everything you could ever need to make your stay comfortable. Really nice stay. Loved that a park was down the street and some restaurants that were near as well. Overall we loved our stay with a last min plan updates. If you do have little ones under 3 i suggest you bring a portable gate so they don’t go down the stairs. But other than that everything was very smooth. Can’t wait for next time ☺️

Excellent In Every way!

Eagles Haven was a dream. The house was spacious but cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed, pots, pans, utensils etc. it made it super easy to eat in. The Bedrooms are spacious and the beds are cozy. We especially loved the living room with the fireplace and cozy couches as we watched movies and played games. One very minor critique, we ran out of toilet paper the night before we left. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back in the future. Highly Recommend!

Thanksgiving at Eagle Haven

A very comfortable place to have a nice stay. There was plenty of room to maneuver with 4 adults and 1 child. While we brought nearly everything we’d need to cook our Thanksgiving meal, the cabin still offered those things we didn’t bring. The rooms were comfortable, though the bed downstairs could use a foam topper. We brought our dog with us and had room for his crate. He also enjoyed exploring the fenced-in yard. The host was easy to get a hold of for any questions. It’s definitely a space we would stay at again.

Cozy Home in a Great Spot

Loved our stay! House was warm and comfortable, very clean, and had all that was needed. The location is great- you can see a bit of the lake and plenty of trees, the neighborhood is quiet, took us only a few minutes to drive to anywhere we wished to get to, and we walked the kids down to the park every day. The fenced-in yard and back patio are quite nice too- I wish we had taken advantage of those spaces more! As other reviewers have mentioned, it's a little tricky to keep babies (or little ones) away from the stairs since the living area is upstairs, but doable if you are prepared. The high dining table was also challenging for the little kids (but let's be honest- they have trouble sitting at the average table too ha!) The owner was very responsive and friendly, and all information for our stay was very clear and detailed. Would recommend a stay here for your next visit to Big Bear!

Nice cabin in Big Bear Lake

We loved the place, it was super clean and there was a lot of attention to detail - items were labeled, instructions were clear, etc. I can't think of anything they missed in terms of outfitting the place. The location was great for walking our dogs... the peninsula is pretty low-traffic, and the homes and trees are lovely. The property is located adjacent to Meadow park. We loved it as there are pickleball courts and every Friday there's a farmer's market. The only slight downside is that the park is well-used, and got a little noisy at times with softball games, playground noises, pickleball, etc. It didn't bother us at all, but it's just something to note if you'd be sensitive to it. We were there during a bit of a heat wave, and while the upstairs did get a bit warm in the late afternoon, the downstairs bedrooms were nice and cool. Also the cabin is close enough to the lake that a cooler breeze would blow in around sun down to help cool things down. Overall, we were very happy here, I'm sure you will be too!

Cute little house. Oven was dirty and we couldn’t use it because it smoked up the house when we turned it on, bummer. Owners were nice about it and blamed housekeeping, fair enough. Told us we could use the hot tub we had requested “on the house” due to oven issue. Hot tub was gross. Sludge on sides and it’s far from the house so you have to run in freezing cold to get to it, once we saw sludge we got out. Rooms were nice and cozy. Kitchen didn’t have towels which was weird, also no towels for hot tub that we saw. Two of the three rooms are downstairs and house is very loud and hard to sleep when people are awake upstairs. 3 star experience - good price, nice owners, cozy house, nothing special.

Cozy cabin in a great location!

Booked this cabin at the last minute based on the great reviews and it did not disappoint! The owner responded immediately and was able to get our reservation confirmed on the same day. We drove up before the snowstorm and spent three fun days watching the snow fall! The cabin is clean and organized and has all of the comforts of home. We have stayed in a lot of rentals and I loved how everything here was neatly labeled (ie light switches for each room, window levers, kitchen tap tells you which way is hot, cupboards are labeled where to put everything back). There are plenty of blankets for snuggling up and plenty of pots and pans for cooking. Several puzzles to choose from which was fun. We paid extra for the hot tub and it was so worth it, esp after the big snow storm! We took multiple walks around the neighborhood and to the park that is just on the other side of the backyard. There is a dog park within walking distance which was a perk for our sweet pup! The cabin is very dog friendly with a securely fenced yard, outdoor water bowls and extra potty bags. Our dog loved watching the squirrels play in the big tree out back. The living room is cozy, just wish there was a little extra seating, as there is only one sofa and an easy chair. The Eagle’s Haven was a great Easter getaway for our family. Thank you for the memories!
