The location of this house is very convenient. The house was decently clean though extremely dated, but there were maintenance issues- chips and stains on the bathroom paint, a garbage disposal that has to have the cap in at all times or it smells like rotten broccoli, making that side of the sink largely unusable, missing drawer pulls on a dresser. The beds were fairly comfortable and there were plenty of them, but the sheets and pillows are extremely cheap, so don't expect much of them. Appliances worked except the microwave, which was replaced within half an hour when we called. There is NO air conditioning, only heat, and opening the windows wasn't very effective for cooling with no fans, so I wouldn't recommend this place when it's very warm. Water pressure was fine. Owner never responded to chat messages, though phone support was responsive. The emails from hotels.com said we would get check in information 48 hours in advance, but they did not provide it until check in time. They refused even when called, which was kind of alarming- smells of a scam- but it was ok in the end. Could be a problem if you don't have reception to get the email when you are on the mountain though.
