Nobody at the reception desk on arrival. No parking facilities so had to use a multi storey car park which was difficult to find and very expensive Rooms were superb

Despite its age (very 90s decor), the room was very clean; even the carpet, which, unlike US hotels, didn't leave the soles of your feet grey with grime after walking around barefoot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room faced major intersection (well, major by Swiss standards) so there was some traffic noise throughout the night, but not disruptive.

Situated in an excellent location close to both the train station and the centre of the city, Hotel Elite was a good choice for me. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are some aspects of my room that were looking a bit tired. For example, the grout in the bath/shower tiles had signs of mildew and the gauze curtains at the door to the balcony had yellowed with age.

The team tries hard, but they are very limited in number and errands like fixing a hairdryer simply don’t happen. Room smelled mold. Noisy bar in front. Shallow pillows. Ultra expensive breakfast.

Nice room, poor breakfast.

The room was okay, clean and everything you'd expect to find was there. Could of perhaps done with some instructions for the Nespresso coffee machine in the room, but I figured it out eventually. Only complaint would be the breakfast. It was poor for the money. The hot stuff was cold and the cold stuff wasn't replenished quickly enough.

Arrived a few minutes later than expected (shortyl after 11PM) due to bad weather conditions. The hotel door was locked, nobody responded to the night bell. I had to book another hotel in the middle of the night. That was very disappointing for me, because I expected the hotel to contact me, respectively offer me an option to access my room.
